Better Than Words

Fresh sweat slowly made their way to his eyes, he tried to blink the drops away and mentally cheered when his eyes became clearer without wiping it with his ironed polo.

The mixed up smells of perfume on the auditorium, make him cringed in disgust.

This was his first day,he waited for this time, practising his communication skills that surely can help him gain his first friend on his new school.

Making alot of friends was not a problem back at his old school,he's an outgoing, happy go lucky teen and undeniably charming.

But his nerves were certainly kicking him,  making his stomach churn upside down. The orientation went by slow making him more anxious,he can't believe that for almost 4 hours he never made an effort talking to his seatmate or joining small groups of people during breaks.

He suddenly felt left off and a total alien,he cursed himself for switching schools, he imagined his friends laughing and sitting on the benches under the old mango tree listening to each others banter about which on is the best.

He knows his friends can be crazy but he love them to death but he also love his family and education.

Transferring schools was the Hardest thing he have ever done , aside from the paper works, being departed to his long term friends was so difficult and adjusting to new set of classmates and environment was the biggest challenge.

"I'm not sitting here alone. I need to get up and make some friends"
He whispered to himself to boost his self confidence.

YEAH I CAN DO IT!
