She wasn't dead.
She looked around the room as she finally came to. The room was bright and spinning. She tried to focus on one thing hoping things would come into sight but it was hard to focus when everything hurt so much. John Wick almost killed her... If it wasn't for sheer dumb luck and a few friends that worked with her she would have been. She tried to sit up but of course the nurses stopped her. It had been 3 days since she had been stabbed. She had spent to much time away.. She had to find Santino.. She had to know he was safe..

“He killed him in the Continental. John Wick is excommunicado... ”
Those where the words that would forever haunt her... Santino was gone..
She laid in the hospital bed not knowing what to feel.. Santino was always a hard ass. Especially with Ares but the reality was.. He was All she had. Now she had nothing.. No one. She hadn't felt so alone since she lost her parent's. She could feel the warm tears stream down her face but as usual heard nothing.. She had cried too much in her few years, too many times to count... But this was never something she thought would happen... She could hardly breathe before the news.. And now? It was dann near impossible. The freak out caused her to eventually pass out.. And thats how she spent the following days recovering.. Just sleeping.

"John Wick is going to pay" The first clear thought she had since the incident. The nicely dressed Man standing at the foot of her bed and simply nodded. "Very well.. but first we must discuss Mr.D'Antonio's funeral as well as his estate and assets" he signed for the mute who watched raising her eyebrow. He had left her everything.. Ares was set. Forever.. She didn't under stand why he gave her everything but she wasn't about to turn it down.. After all she was the most loyal to him.  She knew how to run the business so ultimately there was no one else more suited to take over. It was time to put Santino to rest. She owed him that much. The moment she was out of the hospital they had the funeral. So many showed however Ares kept a low profile and as far as the world knew she too had died. Very few knew about her being alive and for now it would stay that way. She watched all of them slowly leave the funeral and once it was clear she walked to the casket and knelt down some. "I'm going to kill John Wick." She dropped a rose on the casket and left.

It was time for Ares to take her seat at the throne..
