I looked at the time and saw it was ten o clock in the morning and I realized that I had fell asleep waiting for Cody to come back and then I panicked. I was going to be late for my meeting with Paul today and that wasn't a good way to start off a new job.

I got up and went into the bathroom and got ready. I curled my hair and applied some light makeup. I grabbed a dress that I recently bought and put on my converse (It was Paul, he'd seen me in worst). I grabbed my purse and left a note for Cody just in case he came by. I was hoping the boy didn't miss this meeting. My career was riding on him and he knows how this business works. You put all your personal feelings aside for the biz so love is just another feeling when you're with the bosses.

I locked the hotel room door and rushed downstairs and into the lobby. I went out to the rental and drove of to the office.

It was time to forgot about Punk and start thinking about Charlotte Rose.

Cody managed to say, "Hello." That was all he could say to his lost lover. What was he suppose to say? I love you please come back? He thought not.

He had hung up the phone over five hours ago but there he sat in the car thinking about what she told him.

"I called you Cody because Dustin called me to see how I was and he only ever does that when something's wrong with his baby brother. What's a matter?"

He didn't even answer Sadie before he hung up. He didn't know why he hung up he just did. He went from stiff to stupid in a matter of seconds. That was his chance to talk to her and he threw it away. Was it because of anger? Maybe. He was awfully mad when she left him and he would never let that feeling go. It still clouded his thoughts everyday.

Cody heard his phone ring and he grabbed it before placing it up to his ear.

"Hello."

"Cody Runnels where are you? Don't you remember we have a meeting. You said you were just going to the store yesterday, what happened?"

"Crap," he muttered. "Sorry Char, I forgot. I got caught up in something and didn't make it back to the hotel yesterday. Sorry if I worried you. I'll be there in a minute. Tell Paul I'm deeply sorry."

"Quit apologizing and get down here! Wouldn't want them to call daddy and tell him how wrong he was about you being responsible, would you?"

"No ma'am," he responded. "I'll be down there in a little bit. Calm down and don't worry."

Cody hung up the phone and headed to the office. He couldn't believe that he was late on the first day. His dad would kill him if he knew. God he needed to get his head out of the gutter. He had a ten minute drive to get everything cleared and to come up with an excuse for being late just incase Charlotte hadn't already made one for him.

This was going to be a fun journey.

Punk sat down on the old dusty couch and smiled as a young girl straddled him.

"What's your name?" Punk asked kissing her neck.

"None of your business. I'm not here to make friends, I'm here to make money," she replied, smiling.

Punk pulled back and looked into the young woman's blue eyes. Punk said, "Why not tell me your name? Why is it such a dark secret of yours? You afraid of something?"
