Chapter 10: Victory & Pain

Foundation day.

This is it! I am totally nervous right now. I hope that we make it. Anyway, there are so many students here from other school.

"Guys, focus on your game okay. I know we make it. Fighting guys" Coach Tim say to us.

"FIGHTING!"

We decided to change our clothes in our locker. While I am changing my cloth. I saw Kimmon, he looks so serious. I decided to come near to him.

"Hey!"

He glance at me. As he turn to look at me, I feel that he is so nervous.

"Don't be nervous. I know that you can do this time".

"Who says that I am nervous?" Pretender.

"Its obvious to you. That's okay. I believe on you. You will win this game this time. Prove to anyone that you can do it". I smile to him. I am giving a courage to fight. I know that it is only a game to be play but this is a big deal, especially to him. I want him to prove to everyone that they are all wrong.

"How? What if it happened again? What if I can do it again? I don't want to turn you down guys. I don't want that". I feel his sadness.

"Just like what I've said earlier. I believe in you. I watched you before and you are so great. Kimmon, just believe in yourself that you will do it, trust on your ability okay. And don't be negative".

He didn't say any words. Instead, he keeps on looking at me. Why? Do I have dirt on my face?

"What?". He stood up and walk slowly to me. His gaze, its different. I can't even explain that look.

"You are the only one who say to me that. You really have faith on me huh" He said. He keep on walking while I am avoiding him. Until I lean on a cold wall.

"W-What a-re y-you d-doing?". I am obviously stuttering and my heart, it keeps on beating so fast.

"I want to know your answer. Do you have faith in me?". he asked me again. He is so serious in asking me that.

"O-Of c-course I-I h-have".

"Good. Now lets go now".

He then left me here. I was like, what happen? I smile because of him.

The game has finally started. I heard the cheer of our schoolmates. They are cheering for Kimmon. They keep on shouting his name. But Kimmon is really serious in the game. I know that we will home the victory.

The first quarter of the game was good. 22-29. we're ahead. We still ahead in the second quarter. But not in the third and fourth quarter. We only have 2 minutes left to win this game.

"Guys, focus okay. Think the practices that we done. All the strategy that I have said, used that in this game. Okay. I know we will do this. Fighting!!" Coach Tim giving us courage.

"FIGHTING!!"

1 minute left. And the score of the other school is 95 while the score that we have is 80. That's big count. But later on, we are now keep on scoring. Kimmon is always shots for three points. My other team mate, they are all keep on scoring too.
