Chapter 5: The Unexpected Visitors

I don't know what to feel anymore. Seeing him with a girl makes me numb and seeing him that being so sweet to that girl, it hurt me like hell. Sigh. This is the reason why I don't like to take a risk, I don't want to get hurt. It's frighten me.

"What happened, Copter awhile ago?". I look at him with a sad written all over my face.

His head burrows when I face him. I don't know what my face looks like. Am I having a priceless face again or what?

"What happened to you, Copter? Why you look so sad? What's the problem?". Looks like my friend Toey worried about me.

"Its nothing".

"Nothing your face! I know that look. Look of having a problem or look of being in pain. Which one is the right one?" He really knew about me.

I take a deep breathe before I answer his question.

"Oh that's so deep. Now spill it out!"

"I saw Kimmon with a girl. They are so sweet. Kimmon held the hands of that girl. Looks like they are couple". It makes me sad when I recall what happened. I think I need to give up this feelings I have. It only gave me a heartache.

"That's why you're on the urge of crying". 

"I'm not going to cry".

"Really?"

"Of course". Liar Copter! You are in the urge of crying earlier then you are going to say You're not going to cry?! What a joke! But I don't want Toey see me cry. So I decided to hide it.

"Okay, if you say so".

"But you know what. I think I should get over him". 

"What?! Are you serious?!"

"Yes, I'm serious".

"But why? You just saw them holding their hands. That is not a proof that they are couple. Maybe they are cousin or siblings".

"Thanks for your support Toey. But maybe I need to stop what I feel for him. This is so wrong. We're both guy". I gave Toey a sad look. I need to stop my illusion. We can't be together, because we're both guy. Truth hurts.

"It's that what you're heart wants?"  I made a serious look to Toey.

"The answer for that is NO, this is not my heart wants. But I need to follow what my brain".

"If that's what you want I will support. I am just here to listen to you".

"Thanks". I gave Toey a genuine smile.

"Let's go now".

We decided to go home now. I don't have any energy to continue our celebration after what happened today. No words can express what I feel right now. Sigh.

Weeks later.

We start to practice for our game next week. Double effort just to win this game. l make a glance to Kimmon whose practicing right now. I can't help myself from falling in love to him but I need to hold this feelings I have. Sigh.

"Okay, let's take a break". Coach Tim is a good coach. He gave us courage to fight.

I walk down to the bleachers and sit there for awhile. It's so tiring day. We need to do a lot of practice. We still have 1week to go before our game. Pressure.
