A/N - Two updates in one day - thats when you know work has been quiet!! Hope whoever is reading this is enjoying it.  Its my first go at fanfiction so bare with me! I am trying to keep the narrative similar to the current Camren situation but with some obvious made up bits (keep tuned for some fluffy/smutty bits that can only come from ones imagination).  Camren will always be endgame.

Lauren POV

The rest of the week went by with neither of us making contact with the other. I had stupidly been pulled over on the way back from the beach for driving under the influence but I  luckily managed to talk my way out of it.

It was now Christmas eve so nowhere in my house was peaceful. Being Cuban Christmas eve was more manic than Christmas day.

As the clock struck midnight taking us into Christmas day I was sat on the roof outside my bedroom window drinking the last of a bottle of wine. I picked up my phone to text Camila but couldn't find the right words. Giving up I put it back in my pocket and went to climb back inside.

"Lauren." I heard someone say.

I turned around in search of who called me and tripped over myself. "Shit" I cursed as I rolled down the roof and into the bushes below.

"Lauren are you OK?!" I heard someone call as I tried to get myself up. My head was spinning and there was sharp pain in my ankle.

Camila POV

Running over to Lauren, I hoped she wasn't seriously injured. Seeing her lying there in the bush was both horrifying and funny at the same time. I grabbed her arms and slowly dragged her towards the grass area next to their garage. Sometime between her falling and me rushing to help her she had passed out and was completely unaware it was me trying to help her.

Just as I lay her down on the grass I saw the garage light flick on and the door began to open. "Shit" I cursed to myself. I hesitated not sure whether I should run and hide or face whoever was inside. I went with the latter realising it would seem odd for lauren to be passed out on the grass.

I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw it was only Taylor Laurens sister. "Camila. What are you doing here?" she asked "And what the hell happened to Lauren?"

Dazed by the situation I just and stared at her not knowing what to say. "Oi Camila, talk to me" she said with more concern this time.

Just as I was about to answer her Lauren sat up, startled by the situation unfolding in front of her.

Lauren POV

"I heard a loud bang and thought someone might have driven into our post box again" Taylor spoke first. "I opened the garage to find you passed out on the lawn and Camila standing over you."

"It's all my fault" I heard Camila start before I cut her off. "I called Camila earlier to drop me over some stuff I had left at hers from ages ago. I was on my way down to meet her when I tripped and fell off my roof."

"Why where you leaving the house via your roof?" Taylor asked curiously

"I didn't want to wake anyone up and I thought it would seem awkward Camila coming into the house after y'know everything that's happened."

"Well it's nice to see you Camila it's just a shame about the circumstances." Taylor said before heading back into the garage.

Camila POV

"You didn't need to do that Lauren, but thank you. Are you ok? You landed pretty hard on that bush over there." I said pointing trying not to smile.
