"... get your hands off, hands off, hands off my heart."
Ugh. I really don't want to go to school today. All I want to do is stay in bed and sleep in. You can bet I certainly enjoyed doing that all break long. And I didn't have to deal with annoying people, homework, teachers, and immature boys. I hate it all and I wish it was over with already. At least I'm 1 semester closer to Yale University (a.k.a. my dream school since I was 10) in the fall semester after I graduate high school. It's sad that the acceptance rate is only 6.4% as of 2016. Welp.... I guess I have to get up and get ready for school. Uggghhhh.
*Quickly showers, blow dries her hair, changes, and alks downstairs to get breakfast*
Well I guess Mom and Dad are still asleep. Oh well. I'll just grab a banana and granola bar or something. Oh crap! I'm gonna be late! *Runs out the door right before Abi's car leaves.*Abi: Well look who it is!
Emma: Haha sorry it took me so long
Abi: Oh well. Cat will probably be worried but she'll get over it.
Emma: True that.
Abi: So how was your break?
Emma: Haha I did nothing but eat, sleep, and watch Netflix.
Abi: Haha same!
Emma: *As the girls are pulling into school* Yeah I enjoyed the two weeks away from all this crap.
Abi: Same girl. Look! There's Cat!
*Cat walks up and hugs them*
Cat: So what's up? How were your breaks? I got worried because you're almost late!
Both Abi and Emma: Haha all we did was eat, sleep, and watch Netflix. What about you?
Cat: Haha well I guess we all did the same thing over break.
Abi: And this is why we've been best friends since elementary school.
Emma: Exactly!
Cat: Well.... Sadly the bell is about to ring so we better go.... See you girls later.
Emma and Abi: See you later!*Walks to 1st pd: Photography*
Teacher: Good morning class. Your first assignment for the new quarter is to choose one photograph that represents you and write one paragraph on the reason why. This assignment is due on my desk by Friday. You may have the rest of the class period to work on it.Hmmm. What picture represents me? An object? Food? A microphone because I sing? A piano because I've been playing since I was 6? A clarinet because I've been in band for 3.5 years now? I don't even know. Maybe I'll go with the piano because I have a grand piano at my house. It's really old but still beautiful. It's wooden and been in my family for generations. That's what I should include in the essay. Also that my mom taught me to play when I was 6 and how I've grown up playing at school events like concerts and in church. Well I guess it's a good thing Mom got me a Canon Rebel for a camera. It's absolutely amazing. Photography has always been a passion of mine ever since Abi convinced me to post the first picture on Instagram.
*Bell rings*Well I guess I'll finish this later.
(Fast forward to the end of the day when the girls are talking after school because I'm too lazy to do all of Emma's classes.)
Abi: Hey guys
Emma: What's up?
Cat: School was boring as usual.
Emma: Yep. Well at least Photography class was good today.
Abi: What'd you do?
Emma: I have to pick one photograph that represents me and one paragraph on the reason why.
Cat: You should totally do music because it's like your entire life.
Abi: Exactly she's right.
Emma: That's so not true.
Cat: Girl. You've been playing piano since you were 6, Clarinet since you were 11, and Bass Clarinet and Contra Alto since you were 12.
Abi: She's got a point. How is music not basically your whole life?
Emma: Ugh you guys are right. I was thinking about taking a picture of a piano and writing about how long I've been playing and how I've played in concerts and in church basically all my life.
Cat: See? Told you.
Abi: Well your photography is amazing so I'm sure you'll get an A.
Emma: Thanks guys.
Cat and Abi: You're welcome.
