My name is Lanaia Mount and I am greedy.
I come from a stable and loving home. Both of my parents have decent jobs. My father is a pilot and my mother is a lawyer. My older sister has a fashion buisness and I have a job in buisness. I am a secretary. For the most part I have never worried about money. I was going to work when I saw a pile of cash on the ground. I picked some up but a man started to yell at me. "Thats my money! I'm homeless! I need food!" Those kinds of things. I took whatever I could and ran off. I entered the building and I set up my desk. I saw someone drop their wallet as they walked by. I picked it up and took out a couple bucks. I just am a materialistic person and I like things. I stuffed the dollars in my purse. Two hours later a woman rushed to me. "Have you seen my wallet?" She frantically asked. I look to my left under the desk. There was the wallet that was dropped earlier. I grabbed it and slid it across the counter. She thanked me then walked off. She didn't immediately check it. I guess the money is finders keepers. I smiled to myself.
When I walked home I saw $100 on the sidewalk. I glanced at the street sign. Kupers Ln. I pulled my car over and walked toward the money. I picked it up. Today must be my lucky day or something. When I turned to walk back a felt a pain on my head. It felt like something it me. What was that? I ignored it and walked back. When I got to the door of my car something hit my head again. It was harder this time. I looked up. I blacked out. When I came to I was in my car. Pulled over. Where am I? I started my car and went home. When I saw $100 on the ground I looked at the street sign. Kupers Ln. No way am I letting something hit my for the third or fourth time. I drove faster. All of a sudden a dog ran out in the middle of the road. I couldn't stop in time but I did slow down a bit. I ran out to see the damage. The dog was dead. In it's mouth was $100. I looked up. Kupers Ln. I looked up. I blacked out again. I opened my eyes to find that I was back in my car. I took the back way home.
I got a call from my best friend. I answered it. "Hi Leslie." I answered. "Look up." She said. I looked up. I saw a street sign. The phone call failed. I was too far to read it. I got closer. Kupers Ln. Hanging in the tree right next to the sign was Leslie. I was mortified. In her mouth was $100. I panicked. I rushed out the car and dragged her body down. What was happening? I sobbed over her lifeless body. I felt a shadow looming over me. I looked up. I blacked out again. When I opened my eyes I was on Kupers Ln. I looked at the road in front of me. $100 dollar bills scattered the sidewalks, roads, and lawns. I banged my head on the steering wheel. "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" I shouted at myself. I could not believe this was happening. I got out the car and picked a bill up. Blacked out. Again. I opened my eyes again. I was in my car. Kupers Ln. I was stuck in a loop.
