Syl invited me to his house for the first time. I was excited but a little bit nervous. I drove to his house (although he insisted that I let his driver take me) and it was so big and beautiful and very white. Inside was so immaculate; it was as if he got it cleaned all day every day. I could practically see my reflection in the wooden furniture and floors. There were paintings on every wall in the house and the place smelled so nice. In his kitchen, there were stainless steel appliances everywhere which looked great with the black and white tiles.

We sat down in his theatre later on watching 'The Notebook'. I laughed constantly as I watched him mock the couple in the movie and saying almost every line verbatim.
"Why do you know the lines in this movie?" I laughed.
"When my mother was really sick, I stayed home with her and watched this movie everyday," he smiled.
"That's sweet of you."
He nodded. "I'm sure she would love to meet you," he said.
"Me? I don't think so."
"Of course. You should join us for dinner."
"One day, Syl."
"You said that the last time. I think it's time now," he said raising an eyebrow.
"Noooo," I chuckled, covering my face.
"Fine," he replied, throwing his hands up in the air.

We went to bed later that night, really tired after sex. Syl fell asleep with his head on my chest and his leg across my thighs. His arm was on my left boob as well. I couldn't really move but I felt so happy watching him sleep so comfortably on me.
I woke up the next morning and looked by my side. Syl was missing again.
Does he ever rest?
I got up and pulled on one of his T-shirts and went downstairs to look for him. I got into the kitchen and there he was on the phone, dealing with business. His maid was also in the kitchen cooking us breakfast.
I should've probably put a bra on.
"Good morning," I said, taking a seat beside him at the kitchen island.
He blew me a kiss.
"Morning, ma'am," she said.
"Oh no, please call me Aria," I smiled.
"Aria," she repeated, smiling at me.
She was old, short and her pixie hair cut made her look so adorable.
"Is there anything I can help you with?" I asked.
She turned around shocked as if no one has ever asked her that. She nodded quickly then told me to break the eggs for her.

After breakfast, Syl and I were sitting by the pool chatting about houses, cars and other stuff when his phone rang.
"Hello mom," he answered happily.
I kept quiet, picking at my nail polish.
"Yes, I am," he said again, this time he was staring at me. "Alright, bye."
He hung up then looked at me and smirked.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing," he smirked.
"Then why do you have that look on your face," I asked, slapping his hand.
"Oh nothing really.. My mom is just on her way over here to meet you," he grinned.
Oh shit.
"Oh my God. I look like shit!" I replied, covering my face.
He chuckled. "No you don't. You're gorgeous, babe."
I blushed. "I'm gonna take a shower," I replied, kissing him on the lips then ran to the shower.

A couple minutes after, I got out of his bathroom.
"Sylvester! I'm here!" I heard a mature woman's voice say.
Shit, she's here.
I grabbed a dress from my bag then put it on quickly. I then grabbed one of my thongs then slipped into them. I fixed my breasts in the dress so they wouldn't jump out on her when I leaned in for a hug or to shake her hands. I brushed my hair out quickly then sprayed a little of his cologne on my neck then headed downstairs.

There she was in the kitchen chatting to the maid, Claire. Her long, dark beautiful hair flowed down to her back. Her dark brown eyes dazzled and her smile lit up the room.
Now I know where he got his looks from.
For a mature woman, her body was so fit and sexy and her dress clung to her curves, highlighting her figure more. She turned around and looked at me and oh how she beamed.
"You must be Aria," she smiled.
I nodded blushing. She was so angel-like.
She came towards me and leaned in for a hug.
God she smelled good.
"Nice to finally meet you. Syl told me so much about you," she grinned. Just like him.
"It's nice to meet you too, Mrs. McMaster."
"Oh no, it's Carol for you. Mrs. McMaster is my husband's mother," she chuckled.

We joined Syl outside where Claire had already laid out items for tea. Carol and I chit-chatted. She was so funny and very charming. She told me how she met Syl's dad in a bar and got married to him two weeks afterwards. From the adventures she told me about, Carol was very risqué and carefree and surprisingly, I loved that about her. She told me stories of Syl when he was younger and even backed out baby pictures she had of him on her phone.
"Oh mom, please hide those," he whined, hiding his face.
"Isn't he just the cutest thing?" she asked, showing me the photos.
I laughed.

Syl and his mother were too much alike and now, I wish I met her long ago.
She was beyond amazing.
Syl left us alone after a while. I was a little nervous to be alone with her but not as much as the first time I saw her.
"You're the first girl that Syl has introduced me to and I genuinely love you. You're a beautiful sweetheart," she blurted.
"Well, I'm very glad you do and I like you too," I blushed.
"Aria, I don't want to scare you or anything but my son loves you," she said as soon as Syl was out of sight.
"D-d-did he tell you that?" I stuttered. Happy and surprised at the same time.
"No, but I know my son. He speaks about you very often. And he gives you the same look, I gave his father when I first laid eyes on him," she said looking out at the lawn.
"Carol, I have strong feelings for Syl but I'm taking my time to develop this relationship. I don't want to rush it," I sighed.
"I know. He told me. And I can tell that you're scared. Aria, I know it may be sudden for you but it's very real for him."
I nodded.
She took my hands into hers and looked at me. "He wont hurt you. You have my word on that. You will know when the time is right."
