It's been almost two months since the incident and a lot has happened. I lost my job (of course). Syl wanted to fight the board's decision but I told him that it wasn't a good idea. I didn't see myself working there anyway. Especially since Misty was killed. We were never friends but I'm sure memories of her would haunt me there.
I also got kicked out of my apartment. The neighbors complained about the multitude of reporters that were constantly outside waiting on me to get out of the building and give a statement. So my landlord, told me I had to go.
Although these unfortunate events took place over the past few months (plus the chaos with Victoria), I was extremely happy.
It brought Syl and I even closer... literally.
I moved in with him.
I needed somewhere to live and he suggested I come and live with him. It was his idea of protecting me. And he could see me every day and we were now able to spend more time together now.
And have sex all day...
I didn't mind though; I loved being with him. Sylvester McMaster was my missing puzzle piece. And now that I had him to myself (with no one trying to tear us apart), I was now complete.

The sun rays snuck in through the cracks of the curtains and woke me up. I rolled over expecting to see Syl on this beautiful day but of course, he wasn't beside me. He told me had a business meeting in Washington. I was going to fly there later this afternoon to celebrate my birthday with him and I couldn't wait.
There was a card beside me on the bed where he sleeps. I picked it up then opened it. It read:

Good morning, beautiful!
Happy Birthday! I'm sorry I couldn't be there to tell you in person but trust me, I WILL make it up to you. Cant wait to see you later to celebrate. I've planned so many things for you.
Have a great day & I'll see you later, baby.
- Love, Syl.

A smile wiped across my face. I couldn't wait to see him either. I jumped out of bed and to my surprise, there was a trail of roses leading to God knows where. I grabbed my robe and quickly put it on then followed the rose petals. It went all the way downstairs.
I followed it and it led me to the front door where the a car key was taped to the door.
"Oh. My. Fucking. Gosh!" I squealed, grabbing the car key off the door then ran outside.
And there it was. My new baby.
A matte black Ferrari 458 Spider.
My heart did a somersault in my chest. I screamed for joy then ran to it. It was so beautiful. I told Syl that I wanted it for my birthday but I was really joking. I didn't know he would take me seriously.
I should ask him for my own chopper next.
I opened the car door then jumped in. It had a new car smell with a hint of Versace cologne.
Syl.
There was a note on the passenger seat. I took it up then read it.

I hope you love this gift. This is just the first out of three. The second one is in the living room. Enjoy, my love.
- Love, Syl.

I tossed the paper in the back then got out of the car. I ran to the living room, anticipating my second gift. I finally got to the living room and my jaw dropped. There were so many racks of clothing and boxes of shoes. I stood there in disbelief. Claire looked shocked too.
"Are all these yours, Aria?" she asked.
I nodded, flabbergasted.
"Whoa," she said.
"I know right," I replied.
We both went through the clothes on the racks.
Donna Karan. Dolce & Gabbana. Versace. Gucci. Coach. Christian Louboutins. Chanel.
You name it, it's there.
"Look, here's a note from Mr. McMaster," Claire squealed, waving a piece of paper.
I looked at it then both of us read it:

You're gonna need some sexy outfits to go with that sexy car. Enjoy gift #2, baby. I hope you're ready for gift #3.
- Love, Syl.

I hope I was ready too.

I got dressed that day for lunch with my favorite girls to hang out with; Carol and Chelsea. I slipped on one of the million dresses Syl bought for me. It was a Herve Leger nude and black body-con bondage dress. I slipped on my nude Pigalle's from Christian Louboutins. I was really stunned to see myself so dressed up. So stunning.
My phone started ringing as I was applying my makeup. It was Chelsea.
"Yes, Chels? I'm on my way," I lied.
"Bullshit. You're doing your makeup. Carol and I are here . You have twenty minutes to get here or else," Chelsea said.
"Or else?" I asked, putting on lipstick.
"Or else you'll be all dressed up to eat lunch at McDonald's," she giggled then hung up.
I smiled then grabbed my purse and new car keys and headed to the restaurant.

I pulled up to one of my favorite Italian restaurants then hopped out of the car, giving it to the valet to park. Chelsea and Carol sat at the bar, sipping on cocktails. Expected.
"Hi ladies," I beamed.
"Happy Birthday!" they both squealed, Chelsea handing me a cocktail.
"Thank you," I smiled, taking the glass then took a sip.
"Let's begin. I'm sure you have a long day ahead," Carol blushed.

We ate, drank, laughed and chat for what seemed like forever in the restaurant. I was having a blast. This was one of the best birthdays so far and I couldn't wait to see what Syl had in store for us.
"What plans do you and Syl have later?" Chelsea asked.
I shrugged, "I have no idea. Everything is a surprise with Syl. We've been texting now and then today and he seems really busy. All I know is, I'm supposed to meet him in Washington later."
"Well, whatever he has planned for you, I'm sure you'll love it," Carol beamed, then exchanged looks with Chelsea.
I gave them a little 'what-the-fuck-are-you-up-to' look.
"Are you guys in on it?" I asked.
Chelsea scoffed, "Of course not, Aria. As you said, everything is a surprise with Syl."

I just hope it was a really good one.

I grabbed my luggage and headed downstairs. The limo was supposed to be here twenty minutes ago but I didn't mind because I wasn't ready yet.
I stared at myself in the full length mirror downstairs in awe. My hair was slicked back into a low bun. My makeup was simply done with a pop of color by my Ruby Woo.
I wore a vintage nude, lace dress which clung to my curves with a pair of Zara red, sandal heels.
"You look gorgeous, Aria," Claire said, cupping her hands over her mouth.
"Thank you," I replied, blushing. "I think the limo is here."
Claire volunteered to take my luggage for me to the limo while I grabbed my cellphone and my Birkin bag from the bedroom.
"Have fun!" Claire yelled, waving as the limo drove off.
I waved back at her.

I was so excited to see Syl. I couldn't wait to board the plane and to see my third gift.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it would be better than the first two.
