Chapter 11: Camp part 7: Rika, Sleep and Morning Routine

When the clock finally strike twelve during the little 'walk' with Rika and Ryoma, the younger Echizen is trying her very best to keep her eyes open and stay hyped despite all the yawns she is making.

Seeing her hard work, Ryoma chuckled and picked Rika up in his arms. "Rika, lets go to bed now." He said starting to head to their dorm room.
"N-no! Rika wants to play more...." Rika said in between yawns, her eyelids slowly gets heavier, and she rested her head on Ryoma's chest and slowly goes to sleep.
"We can play more tomorrow silly." Ryoma smiled and slowly walked to the dorm, and tuck Rika into his own bed and slipped under the covers next to her. Giving Rika a little peck on the forehead, Ryoma slowly drifted off to sleep as well.

The next day

Ryoma being Ryoma loves to sleep in, but Rika, who always wakes up early and is immediately energised and hyped. She started to jump on the bed she is sharing with her older brother trying to wake him up.

Groaning, Ryoma slowly open his eyes. "What is it, Rika?"
Rika flashes a wide smile at her older groggy brother. "Rika, hungry! Rika, wanna play!"
Hearing that, the older Echizen hid under their shared blanket. "Lemme sleep a little more"
Rika tsked. "Mada mada suune(another way of saying "mada mada dane", is Rika's catchphrase) , Ryo-nii!"

Kaidoh, who is already prepared to go for his own practice saw what had happened and happen to lock eyes with Rika. "S-so, Rika-chan, do you wanna have breakfast with me, while Echizen sleep somemore?"
Hearing that, Rika nodded so fast and jumped out of bed so fast that Kaidoh could almost see clones of Rika.

Before Kaidoh could react, Rika glomped on him, holding onto a cute blue dress.
"You want me to help you change into this?" Kaidoh asked.
Rika nodded and flashes a cute puppy eyes at Kaidoh, which he couldn't resist. Because we all know he have a soft spot for everything cute.

Kaidoh carefully dressed Rika before carrying her to the cafeteria downstairs where the early risers like Sanada, Seiichi, Atobe and Tezuka are already having their daily morning tea, discussing about their practices later in the day.
"Seii-nii! Genichi-nii! Mitsu-nii! Monkey king! Good morning!" Rika waved cutely which Seiichi replied with a smile, Sanada and Tezuka just nodded, whereas Atobe pouted. Yes the great Atobe Keigo is pouting.
"Why is Ore-sama the only one that have a weird nickname?" He asked.
"Its specially for you only Monkey king!" Rika giggled as Kaidoh puts her over at the table where the said people are before heading to get food for the both of them.
"Well, then that is something good and bad, but I accept, because you are a cute brat." Atobe chuckled

"You sure gave up easy today, don't you?" Seiichi told Atobe.
"Only because Rika will call me and only me with that hideous nickname." Atobe laughed and sip on his drink.

By the way, did anyone notice that I am making Rika similar to Ryoma as a Echizen trait, but also at the same time totally different personality?
