Emma's POV
Lost. I'm completely lost. I walked around the empty corridors trying to find my 3rd period class. The red lockers were like an endless sea of maroon. I scanned the names of the teachers on the side of the doors trying to find my classroom. I took a quick glance down at my schedule to see again what class number it was. I was so distracted that I didn't see the body I bumped into. As I fell on my butt I looked over to see a girl on hers' as well but laughing.

"Oh my gosh! Are you ok?!" I say quickly rushing over to help her.

"Ya I'm ok." She giggled. I notice that her long curly purple hair was covered by a bright pink fedora that was crooked on her head, probably from the impact of her fall. She had on the strangest clothes, her shirt brightly colored and her pants dark. She stood up and she gave me a weird look, her silver eyes piercing through my brown eyes. Then a bright big smile lit up her whole face and she ran to me and gave me a hug. I didn't know what to do so I just let my arms go limp trying to figure out what to do.

"Umm hi?" I said nervously looking at the interesting girl in front of me.

"Oh sorry." She said and backed away a little. "My name is Jemma!"

"That's kind of funny, I'm Emma." We both giggled at the similarities in our names and smile at each other.

"Want to be friends?" The purple haired girl, who's name I now know as Jemma, asks me.

"Sure! Um, but could you help me find my class? This school is so big and I'm really lost." She nods at me and comes over to look at my schedule when her smile got bigger.

"Oh! We have this class together come on!" She grabbed my hand and took off running down the hall with mostly just my arm in tow the rest of me trying to keep up.

Once we reach the class we walk in slowly out of breath. The teacher glares at both of us. "Late again Jemma! And who are you?!" The teacher yells

"I -I'm E-Emma." I mutter, my face bright red. The teacher points to me with her long dark red acrylic nail and spoke to me in a snappy tone "Come".

I walked to the front of the class and she snatched my schedule from my hands. "Ok, Emma Stoghn." The way she said my last name sounded like poison on her lips, " Sit over there." I followed where her finger was pointing to with my eyes then with my body shuffling over to my new seat which coincidently was right by Jemma. Thank you Lord! Our desks were right in the middle of the class, which I'm assuming was for the teacher to keep an eye on us. I quickly get out my note book and start to jot down all the problems she had on the bored, trying to keep up with her fast penmanship.

Once it was lunch time I walked in and grabbed a salad, I looked around trying to find a place to sit. I notice out of the corner of my eye vibrant purple hair. It's Jemma waving at me. I walked over to her table and sat down next to her, glad to have someone to sit with. "Guys this is Emma, my new friend. Emma this is Natalia and Casreio. Or if you want you can call then Nat and Cassy." Jemma introduced me to her friends with such excitement that I kind of got startled.

The girl with the strait curly redvhair looked at me and smiled, "I love your beanie. I have one just like it, except mines red." The girl was really nice and I found out that she's the one named Nat. She was wearing a grey t-shirt and a single white clip in her hair.

"Thanks." I said quietly glancing down at my salad pocking it around.

The girl in the light green sundress, who I guessed was Cassy, just smiled at me. "I like you. Even though you're quiet, I think we will become good friends." I just looked at my plate and nodded.
