Mark's POV
It's been almost two months since we found out about Jack having cancer. He has his ups and downs. But today I've asked the doctor if we could do something very special. We are going to go on that date we never got to go on. Although it will still be in the hospital, it will be amazing. "Hey Jack. How you feeling?" I asked. "Actually I feel pretty good today." He said with a smile. "Good because how would you like to go on that date that we never got to go on?" I asked reveling some red roses from behind my back. "I would love too. But I can't leave the hospital." He said with a sad face. "That doesn't matter I have something special planned." I said smiling. I got a nurse to grab a wheelchair. We went almost all the way to the roof. But we stopped at some windows where you could see everything like you were on the roof. I had a table with a candle and the lighting was perfect. I also got the lunch ladies to make us something special. "Wow Mark this is beautiful." He said with wide eyes. "Thank you so much." He said standing up for a quick second so he could give me a hug and see through the windows better. "Your welcome. I love you so much. You deserve this." I said kissing him. The kiss was long and passionate. Like they used to be. It was nice. Finally we sat down and ate. It was a type of fancy lasagna or something. I don't remember.Jack's POV
Mark came into my room and asked how I was feeling. It took him a while to get to the point. But he asked me on a date. We never got to go on the one we planned because of the car accident. Then a nurse came in with a wheelchair. I always loved wheelchairs. It's better than sitting in bed all day. We went to a spot that was very close to the roof. It was my most favorite spot in the hospital. It had big windows so it made it look and feel like you were on the roof. "Thank you so much." I said standing up to give Mark a hug and look out the window. "Your welcome. I love you so much. You deserve this." Mark's said before our lips smashed together. It was a long and passionate kiss. Like the ones we used to have. It actually makes me sad thinking that I'm gonna be gone and I won't ever get to see his beautiful mocha brown eyes again. I pushed away and sat down. I didn't want to ruin the night so I ignores my thoughts and went on to eating my fancy lasagna thing. The dinner was peaceful. "Once again thank you so much. That's probably the most fun I've had in a couple months." I said. But my smile faded and I was back to being sick. "What's wrong?" Mark's asked grabbing my hand. "I'm just sad that that will be the last date we go on. I'm sad that I'll have to leave you all alone." I said as my eyes started to water. "Hey we can go on more dates. And you won't leave me. I'll still love you. And that will never change." He said giving me hug. "I love you too." I said.Hey guys! Sorry for the tremendously short chapter. But the rest of the chapters to the series will be fairly short. But that means I'll be able to upload more often. But that also means that this story is coming to and end. I know it's sad. I even actually cryed while writing this. Anyway I will see you guys in the next chapter!
