Mark's POV
It's been a couple weeks since Jack's death. His funeral is next month. School is officially out and everyone knows.

*Big time skip to Jack's funeral*

We decided to have the funeral at the top of the hill past the woods by the Cafe. Ethan, my mom, my dad, and I came. I think my mother invited his, but she didn't show. Not a surprise. It was a nice quiet reception. "Mark it's time to go." My mother urged. "I'll get a cab home or something. You guys can go." I said. "Mark I'm so sorry." She said giving me a hug. "Thank you." I said as they walked away. "Hey man I'm gonna get going too. But let me know if you need anything. And keep in touch." Ethan said patting me on the shoulder before walking off. We cremated Jack so it was technically a ceremony but it was still nice. I can't believe he's gone. "But like I said I can't live without him." I said standing up on an edge over the water. I turned around so the last thing I would see would be the sky. It's beautiful this time of night. Right before I stepped backward into my death I saw someone come from out of the woods where the trail was. It was Marie. Jack's mother. She looked nice. I knew she saw me because she came running toward me with tears in her eyes but it was to late. I was falling and everything went in slow motion. I could feel my body hit the ground and it went black. I was in the hospital again. I still couldn't see anything on one side of the room. Then I turned around and there was the mirror with the pale me in it. "Sorry. I should've warned you. But it was fun while it lasted." He said in his deep voice. Then it was black. And I was gone. I was dead. I was with Jack again.
