Episode 16

Leap of 1 month -

Naira is seen cooking in the kitchen. Just then, Kartik enters. 

Kartik: Aaj kya ban rha hai....

Naira: Aapki favourite... kachori

Kartik smiles and slides his hand on Naira's bare waist and looks sensuously into her eyes.

Naira: Kartik...ye aap kya kar rahe hain...koi aa jayega

Kartik: Koi nhi aayega....unhe pata hai main apni biwi ke romance kar Raha hoon

Naira feels vomiting sensation and runs to the washroom. Kartik gets confused and follows her.

Naira: Laksh...baccha....chalo jaldi se apna milk finish karo

Laksh: Nhi Mumma....mujhe nhi peena hai

He runs away.

Naira: Champ....

She follows him but suddenly she holds her head and faints. The glass of milk falls from her hands.

Kartik: Naira....

Everyone turns towards Naira and rushes to her. Kartik takes her in his lap and pats her face.

Kartik: Naira.... Aankhein kholo

Naira was motionless

Dadi: Hey Bhagwan....kya ho gaya bahu Ko

Laksh comes there. He starts crying

Laksh: Papa...Mumma Ko kya ho gaya

Kartik: Aaryan jaldi se doctor Ko call kar

Aaryan: Ji bhaiya....

Aaryan calls the doctor

Swarna: Kartik Naira Ko room mein le jao

Kartik nods. He picks her up and goes to the room

Laksh: Choti dadi... Mumma Ko kya hua hai

Surekha: Kuch nahi hua hai beta... Mumma Abhi theek ho jayegi

All go to the Kaira room

Kartik: Doctor meri Naira Ko kya hua hai....kuch serious hai kya

Doctor smiles

Doctor: Kuch serious nhi hai Mr Kartik....Balki ye toh Khushi ki baat hai

Dadi: Khushi ki baat hai?

Doctor: Ji dadi Khushi ki baat hai....aap phir se badi dadi banne wali hain....Mrs Naira maa banne wali hain....she is pregnant!!

Dadi(happily): Kya!!

Everyone couldn't believe their ears. They were so happy. Kartik was dumb, rooted to the ground.

Manish: Kartik....

Kartik comes back to his senses and is so happy that he hugs the doctor. Everyone smiles.

Doctor: Accha ab main chalta hoon....Mrs Naira Ko jaldi hosh aa jayega

Aaryan: Main doctor ko chod ke aata hoon....

Kartik nods. They go

Naira(half opened eyes): Kartik....

Kartik turns to Naira and helps her get up. He looks at her lovingly.

Naira: Kya hua hai mujhe....aap log itna muskura Kyun rahe hain

Kartik holds her hands and kisses them.

Kartik: Thank you!

Naira: Thank you.....aap mujhe thank you Kyun bol rahe hain Kartik

Kartik: Us Khushi keliye jo tum mujhe dene wali ho....meri choti si princess

Naira looks at him confused and then at everyone. Then she realises and looks at Kartik. Aaryan also comes

Naira: Kya main...kya hum...phirse

Kartik nods happily and Naira hugs him. Tears of happiness roll down Naira's eyes. Kaira release the hug and Kartik wipes her tears and smiles.

Laksh: Aap log bahot gande ho!!!

Everyone turns to him

Swarna: Kya hua baccha....aap gussa Kyun ho

Naira: Aap Mumma se naraz ho baby

Laksh: Nhi main Sabse naraz hoon....

Kartik: Par kyun champ....

Laksh: Aap logon ne mujhe nhi bataya ki aap kis cheez keliye itne khush ho

Everyone laughs at his cuteness

Surekha bends down to Laksh and cups his face

Surekha: Laksh....aapne Shimla jate samay Bhagwan ji se ek wish maangi thi na...

Laksh: Haan...

Surekha: Aur woh wish kya thi...

Laksh: Yahi ki mujhe jaldi se ek chotu brother ya sister dene Ko..

Kartik and Naira smile

Surekha: Aapki wish Bhagwan ji ne poori kar di hai....aap big brother banne wale ho....aapka chotu brother ya sister aane wala hai

Laksh's face brightens into a smile and he looks at Naira. Naira nods happily. Laksh runs towards her and hugs her tightly.

Dadi: Sambhal ke....

Laksh: Thank you Mumma....

He kisses her cheek. Kartik caresses his hair.

Just then,

Voice: Badhai ho....

They turn to see Singhanias with sweets in their hand

Naira: Aap Sab...

All of them enter and congratulate Kartik and Naira

Swarna: Aap logon Ko kaise pata chala....

Rajshri: Aaryan ne bataya....

Aaryan smiles

Dadi: Humein Vishwas hi nahi ho rha hai....hum Apne ek aur par pote Ko apni godh mein khelayege....

Everyone smiles

Everyone dances around Kartik and Naira. Kartik keeps his hand on Naira's belly and kisses her cheek.
