Chapter 2

          #2 - Why Can't I just...

"Anaya , please let's go to the party. You know Mom called me from US and reminded me about this so I have to go."

I know If Naira has taken a decision then she has the power to convince everyone so I just moved out of her room. I was never interested in such parties and stuff so I didn't want to go but Naira was just behind me for this.

Soon she got a perfect reason and said," Anaya, What if I get lost in crowd if I go alone? So then you would be happy or what?" She knew very well that I can't never even think of her going away from me. She gave me a sheepish smile.

Now I knew talking to her was pointless so Reluctantly I agreed and she became so happy that she sprang here and there singing a song whose lyrics only she knows.

Soon we got ready and walked towards the place where the party was held. The sound of music could be heard outside . So we went in and Naira became busy with her friends . I went and sat in a corner.

After some time, I realized that it was getting very late and so I went on to search for Naira. As I ran through the crowd, I crashed into someone and fell down," Ahh!" I yelled out.

I looked above to see a boy standing with his friends. He offered his hand saying a ' sorry'  while his friends laughed seeing me fall.

I got furious as how could they tease me. I just wanted to scream at them but I had already taken a decision that I won't mingle with anyone. So I just ran away from there to our flat.

When one can't get rid of their frustration , it feels as if we are carrying kilos of load on our head and just can't put it down.

At one point I feel like Why can't I just get rid of this stress and be normal . Even I like every girl want to enjoy my life.

No, what am I even thinking? I can't be normal. Otherwise my plan will go wrong. 

Soon , Naira enters the room and asks," Anaya! What happened to you? Why did you run from the party?" Seeing my sad face, she comes near and sits beside me.

She says," See Anaya, there is no-one in this world except me who can understand you better. Whatever your issues are, Everything I know so please don't be so harsh on yourself. Your life .... I know... But I believe you are the person who can reach much greater heights by following your passion. Just forget your past and love the life coming ahead. Tomorrow with the rising Sun,  your life will surely change completely for good. Just believe in yourself, dear"

I hugged her tightly while she patted my back saying," God is with us. Don't worry."
