I woke up the next morning to the front door slamming shut. Then I heard my dads truck start up and take off down the gravel driveway.

I looked at my phone. 9:04AM. "shit" I mumbled under my breath as I jumped up to get ready for school, before realizing it was Saturday.

I slowly cracked open my door to make sure no one was here, even though I heard my dad leave I was always afraid he was there. And as for my mom, she was always gone, I had no idea where she ever went but she was always gone when I woke up and didn't come back until after 6PM. I was always afraid that she wouldn't come back.

I sat down at the kitchen table and started to drink coffee when the front door began to open. As soon as I heard it I jumped up but it was too late. Someone ws already coming around the corner.

"MATT GOD DAMN"

"ha calm down Lee, its only me"

"You scared the shit out of me... I though you were my dad"

Matt knew a lot about my family, the constant screaming at eachother, more then anyone else knew. But that was all he knew and I didn't plan to tell him anything else, I didn't want him to worry about me.

"SOOO next week is the last week of school....you know what that means?!!" Matt basically screamed at how excited he was.

"Yes Matt, our huge begining of the summer party"

Every year Matt and I throw a pool party to start off the summer, its all our school talks about the last month of school. Some how the cops have never been called but the partys always get to up to a couple hundred people.
