Out of all places, why would he choose this one?
According to the GPS and the direction from Mark, Jeno was in the right place. He's stunned, though. Mark could choose another laundry, so why sending his clothes here? It's far from the city center, and the building itself didn't look very clean. If not because of the smell of detergent and the sign, Jeno would be confused.
Huang's Laundry and Dry Cleaning.
He had to do it, if he wanted fresh clothes for tomorrow. Jeno was starting to think that he should be the one who handle everything back home. Mark couldn't even cook an egg.
Once he stepped inside the small building, his judgment changed. It was nicer inside. The wallpaper seemed new, the waiting room was clean. But there was no decoration at all, aside from a small pot on the window pane, containing a sunflower. It was beautiful, Jeno thought.
"Hi, may I help you?" a guy around his age asked from behind the counter. He seemed familiar, but Jeno shrugged it off.
"Yeah, I'm here to pick up the laundry for Mark Lee," Jeno fished out a crumpled receipt from his jeans pocket, and put it on the counter. The boy cringed when he saw the ugly small piece of paper.
"Alright, please wait," the boy went to the back, disappearing through a door. Jeno frowned, maybe he doesn't like crumpled paper or anything messy. He worked in a laundry, that makes sense.
Jeno continued his examination towards the sunflower. He always liked flower, or anything pretty. Pretty girls, pretty flowers, sunshine, pretty pair of shoes, pretty eyes. Call him weird, that's what he enjoyed.
The problem is, he already built a cool guy image, and it doesn't go well with his likings. He doesn't want to ruin the image, since now a lot of girls' swoon over him and he pretty much had the whole school in his hands. If people found out about that...
"Here's your laundry," the boy was back with his laundry, put into a paper bag. Jeno quickly fetched his wallet and paid for the laundry when he said, "You should put more flowers there. Hydrangeas are nice, you know."
"Ah, you like flowers," the boy smiled, "I wouldn't expect someone like Lee Jeno to put an interest in flowers."
Jeno turned his head so quickly he was afraid it'll snap.
"Y-you know me?" Jeno asked, still shocked.
"Of course. We're in the same art class," the boy chuckled, "Don't worry, I wouldn't tell anybody about it."
The boy was about to disappear through the back door when Jeno asked, "We're in the same class?"
The boy snorted, "You should pay more attention towards your surroundings, Lee Jeno." Then he left Jeno standing still in the waiting room.
What the hell? Who was that boy? All Jeno could remember about him was his reddish-brown hair.
