Rob sighed and got up from the bed. Chester shifted in his sleep when he felt Rob move. It was well past noon and Rob was surprised Chester didn't wake up sooner. Rob stood up and stretched, smoothing out his wrinkled clothes that he had been wearing for the past 24 hours.
Chester sat up, groggily. "Morning," he yawned.
Rob chuckled. "Afternoon," he corrected Chester. Chester shook his head and lay back down.
"Whatever," he chuckled back. Rob sat back down on the edge of the bed, grabbing his shoes to put them on. "Are you going somewhere?" Chester asked Rob.
"Brad invited me out again." Chester smiled.
"Cute." Rob chuckled and Chester bit his lip. This was torture. Rob always spent the night, the two had always shared the same bed everytime, but now it just was taunting for Chester.
Chester turned onto his side so he could face Rob. "Do you need me to drive you?"
"Nah, I think Brad mentioned he was gonna pick me up."
"Oh, classy," Chester giggled, Rob rolled his eyes. "You have fun okay?"
"I will. I'll come back here afterwards."
"Okay," Chester said, snuggling into the blankets. He was still sleepy, so he could probably sleep a bit longer. He could hear the RV door close as Rob stepped out. Chester sighed and closed his eyes.
"Are you okay, do you need anything?" the stranger asked Chester. Chester shook his head as he stood up.
"I just need--" he stumbled a bit. He cursed under his breath, he looked like an idiot, stumbling around all drunk.
"Woah, I got you," the man chuckled, steadying Chester upright. "Can I take you to my place, until you sober up? I'm sure your parents wouldn't want you coming him like this."
"Um, sure," Chester said, his head still spinning. He couldn't remember much, only a car ride and then arriving to a house not far from his.
"I never introduced myself," the man said as he helped Chester out of his car. "I'm Jonathan."
"Chester," the blonde said quietly. His eyes felt heavy and tired.
Chester shifted in his sleep. Memories were coming back to him, in chunks, but he knew all too well how they fit together.
"Mike!" Chester giggled when Mike began to hit him with pillows. Mike laughed and tossed Joe's pillow next. Chester caught it and began hitting Mike back. The two began to wrestle around, giggling and laughing. Then they fell back, Chester landing back on Mike's sleeping bag. His smiled faltered, his heart began to race. There was that fluttery feeling again.
Mike smiled softly, then leaned forward to catch Chester's lips. Chester was taken back, but he didn't push Mike off though. He accepted the kiss and held onto Mike's shirt.
They pulled away, blushing and smiling sheepishly. Chester chuckled, biting his lip. Mike kissed him again, his lips lingering a bit longer.
They pulled away quickly when they heard Joe and Brad coming back inside the cabin. Chester's heart was thudding. It had finally happened. Mike kissed him. And now there was this feeling being nailed into his heart.
Chester unconsciously wanted to wake up. He hated falling asleep only because this is how it always was. He only dreamt of his past memories, nothing else.
"You have a boyfriend?"
"Well, not exactly," Chester giggled shyly. Jonathan grinned. His face was red from all the alcohol that Jonathan was giving him. It was only given to him to numb him.
