Chapter 2

「 You've got a mail from : Nini 🐣」

Lisa put down the brush as she shifted her gaze to her mobile phone. She open the text message and read it.

Nini 🐣 :
Lisa, I'm at the Gym!
Hurry & come here!
Imma 'bout to confess!

Lisa's brows furrowed as she started to type a reply for her.

Limario :
Why do I need to come?

Nini 🐣 :
Because I said so. Palli!!

Limario :
I'm painting.

Nini 🐣 :
Aish! U can paint later!

Limario :
Give me a good reason to be there.

Nini 🐣 :
I needed u to cheer on me ok? I can't do this without u.

Lisa looked up to see the time at the wall clock and then she started typing for a reply again.

Limario :
Fine. I'm coming.

Lisa went to the sink to washed her hands first and then she combed the ends of her straight hair before she started walking her way to the Gym.

Lisa take her time walking, clearly she doesn't want to go to the Gym but of course she needed too, that Tofu is persistent.

She is almost there, all she needs to do is make a turn left. She take a deep breath and practice a smile, because that's what Jennie wanted to see... her encouraging smile.

Though it feel so strained now a days...

Lisa make a turn to the left then there she saw two persons facing each other not far from where she is. She stop at the corner as she downcast her head.

"Jimin-ah, Iー I like you. I know it seems fast but believe me, I really like you. Will you go out with me?"
Guess Lisa's late. She lifted her head up and she can see Jennie blushing in shame from the confession she just made.

There's a long silence from the guy. Lisa wanted to take a glimpse at his expression but she's facing his back.

"Why not? That sounds okay with me, Jennie-ssi."
Lisa can only hear him.

"R-really?!!"
Jennie almost jump from delight.

"Yes, Jennie-ssi."
Jimin smiled at him and she swear she saw a halo above his head.

Jennie smiled just as he was doing, gazing straight into his eyes.

Upon looking at Jimin's face, Jennie saw Lisa who is standing not too far from them. Their eyes locked for a second then Jennie raised her hand and make an 'ok' sign with her fingers.

Lisa who understand it, showed her ecstatic smile at her friend. Just like what she practiced earlier.

Lisa also raised her hand and then give Jennie a thumbs up with a playful wink.
"Good job!"
She mouthed and Jennie just laughed at her.

"I'm sorry, Its just that Lisa's over there."
Jennie saw Jimin's confused expression so she pointed Lisa who is standing at the corner.

Jimin followed her index finger and there she saw a tall girl with a straight long hair, and a full bangs framing her small face.

"Oh. It's the art lover girl."
Jimin quickly shifted her attention to Jennie as he gently smiled, seeing her childlike grin.

"Yeah, Lisa's a great painter."
Jennie look at Jimin then she tilted her head to peeked at Lisa who is gesturing that she needs to go now, so Jennie wave at her goodbye after that back to Jimin again.

"I'm sorry, I kinda texted her to be here. I was really nervous earlier and I don't know what to do soー"
Jennie eyes widen when Jimin held her hand and gently pulled her against him for a hug, stopping her from talking.

"I'd like to walk you home."
Jimin looked down and Jennie who is still shocked from the sudden skinship, only nod from what the guy just said.

However, while one person felt elatedly happy for finally reciprocating her feelings? The other one was feeling the opposite.

Lisa closed the sliding door of the art class, dispiritedly walking her way back to her wooden seat.

She face the unfinished canvas and let out a deep sighed.

She took a paint brush and started mixing some colors at the wooden palette. She resumed her work and started adding some bright colors.

Stop being sad. You should be happy.

Because she's happy.
That's all that matters.
