I love to break this friendship,
though from the start
it is better that we never met...
I like you.

Chapter 3

Lisa stretched her arms wide and twirled her wrist from the stiffing pain she got by painting for almost two hours.

She look at the time on her wrist watch then she decided to continue painting tomorrow, she still have a lot of time before the deadline of her art project come.

So Lisa doesn't need to rush this thing up and she also want this to finish it flawlessly.

12:23 pm, she bit her lower lip from hearing her tummy rumble and by the exact time her mobile phone started ringing.

Incoming call from : Nini 🐣 ...

Lisa hesitated to answer her phone, what does she need this time?

For the past whole week of him and her dating, Jennie seems to forget her deal with Lisa to finish this art project together as she hangout with Jimin more than her lately.

Though there's nothing wrong with that because Jennie is in a relationship with Jimin now but can she just at least think about their grades? They are both majoring arts for goodness sake.

You missed a call from : Nini 🐣」

When the ringing had stop, Lisa was about to pocket her phone at her uniform's blazer when a new message has popped out at her phone screen and then another beeping.

Two new messages from : Nini 🐣

Lisa opened it and read what's inside the message box.

From: Nini 🐣
Limario~! I'm so sorry for not being able to come again. I swear I'll make it up to u next time. Btw I bought your favorite!

From: Nini 🐣

Lisa turned off her phone and pocketed it inside her blazer's hand pocket and stand up from her seat, walking her way out from the art classroom.

Lisa has been avoiding to eat lunch with Jennie, because the last time? It sure didn't went well. She looked like a third wheel with the two who act so lovey dovey in front of her. And frankly talking? She hella cringed just by looking at their sweetness. ( or should she call it 'Public Display of Affection'? )

Lisa entered the cafeteria, her hand itching to caressed her rumbling tummy. Okay, calm down. This won't be too long and you'll be fed up again.

She heard a loud growl from her quite stubborn stomach. She ignored it though.

She started walking again, aiming to buy some food at the food counter when she heard her name being called from an all too familiar voice.

"Lisa, you came!!! Sit with us!"
Oh god. No.
Lisa slowly turned her head towards the direction of the voice she just heard.

She looked at her and their eyes met.

Jennie is gesturing her to take a sit beside her but Lisa shake her head, politely refusing the offer. She turned her head back as she face the food counter.

She took a few snacks to fill her stomach then she payed for it, when she was about to turn around Lisa was surprised to see Jennie in front of her.

"Why are you so distant? I miss you already, so sit beside me this time."
Jennie pouted her lips as she playfully glared at her. Lisa's defenses almost crumble but she remained firm and shook her head once again.

"I don't want to ruin your time with Jimin and besides I'll be eating at the classroom today, I still need to finish my math homework. I didn't get to do it last night."
Lisa said gently smiling, shifting her gaze to the table where Jennie left Jimin alone.

And she quickly reverted her gaze when she caught Jimin already staring at her.

"You need to go back, Nini. Your boyfriend is waiting for you."
Lisa teasingly smile as she gave the shorter girl a playful wink.

"Next time, you'll be sitting with us okay?"
Lisa laughed at her friend whining.

"Of course, do I have any choice?"

"None, Limario. None! So you better be sitting with us tomorrow."
Lisa nod, pursing her lips to hide her wide smile. She misses her.

"Alright, now go."
Lisa softly pushed Jennie back to her table, she gave a short glance at Jimin who nod at her and Lisa answered it with a tiny smile then she turned her back.

"Lisa, you forgot your ice cream!!!"
Jennie ran, catching up to her pace. Lisa looked at her and accepted it, she said a short thank you and completely walk away.

Jennie stared at her retreating back, why is Lisa avoiding her these days? Did she do something wrong to offend her?

She went back to her seat and face Jimin who is still busy eating the lunch box she made.

"So? Is it good?"
Jennie leaned her elbows on the table and put her both hands to cupped her cheeks.

She smiled with her teeth showing, anticipating her boyfriend's reply.

"This food is way better than what they always sell at the cafeteria."
Jimin chuckled as he pat her head. A wide smile worked its way across Jennie's adorable face and into her eyes.

After exhanging sweet words to each other they both resumed eating again.

"How long you guys have been friends?"

"Hm, who?"

"Lisa."

"Oh we've been friends since we were 15. I approached her first because Lisa's kinda introvert, I shamelessly asked her to teach me at my math problems since we were seat-mates and after that we became friends."
She blabbered while munching her food, Jimin handed her a bottled water and Jennie glady accepted it.

"So? She's good at math?"

"Yeah, she still tutor me up to now."
Jennie smiled by the though that she needs to bribe Lisa a whole box of pizza first before she agrees to help her at her math problems.

"Lisa may be weird sometimes but she is different in a strangely good way, that's why I befriended her in the first place. She's one of a kind."
