It was hard enough to bury my wife, I now have to bury my daughter. Veronica clung to Isaiah as we stood beside her grave. Veronica rubbed her belly gently, it was part of their pact that if one of them died before having a kid, the other would take the others egg and a man of other's choice and carry the baby. There were two names on the table already, one was Mary Dawn and the other was Michael Taylor.

It had been decided that Travis and I would raise the child, after all, it was Travis's seed that made the baby begin to grow. Since Vixen's death, no one had been the same. Samantha was now doing a life sentence, Isaiah wouldn't let Veronica out of his sight, Travis has moved into Vixen's old room and Veronica was pregnant with Vixen and Travis's baby.

I swear, if Vixen stood here she'd have her arms crossed and her gaze right on me. Everything would've been fine if Isaiah chose Vixen over Samantha, my daughter was dead because of her and because of Isaiah's choices, but that girl loved and adored him. She wanted Isaiah all to herself and she would've killed people for that. But her life took a turn when Samantha wanted me. No matter how many times we said no, she came after me.

It was because of her that my daughter had been killed, she killed my daughter and now I have no one but this little baby that's on the way. My poor Vixen.

~Couple Years Later~

"Victoria!" Travis's voice echoed as the now three year old girl raced through the house naked, she giggled and laughed me smiling brightly as she raced right into my arms. "Victoria Mary!" Travis sighed and he walked into the room and took her from me. "You need to get dressed so we can go see mom us grave!"

Since her birth, every day that Vixen held highly would be a day we'd go down to the grave. Her birthday, Veronica's birthday, my birthday, hell even Vixen's cat's birthday. Today was Vixen's birthday, she would've been twenty-one today, legally able to drink alcohol. Like that stopped her from drinking anyway.

Travis held the finally dressed young girl before we got her into the stroller and made the couple block walk to the cemetery. Veronica and Isaiah was already there, with Tommy. Veronica was expecting Tommy's baby, something to look forward too for sure. Isaiah quickly doted on Victoria, smiling and making her giggle as we all sat and told stories about Vixen.

"Mommy was amazing, wasn't she?" Travis said go Victoria, who nodded and clapped her hands. She walked over to Vixen's grave stone and sat her hands on it. Vixen would've loved her stone, she probably does but doesn't dare show it. Victoria was growing ever so like her mother, she was being strong but also funny and giggly and hell, she's got her brown eyes.

Isaiah smiled and picked up Victoria before kissing her cheek. "Shall we continue to tell stories of momma?" He asked and Victoria nodded, listening closely to the stories we all shared. My gaze rested on the stone, I swear one day I'll see her again, she'll smile at me and probably insult me the whole way to wherever she decides to take me.

"Hey, Matt, you look a bit pale," Isaiah breathed and gave Victoria to her father before moving next to me and brushing my forehead. "Dude, how long have you been feeling this?" He asked and looked up at him.

"It's stage four, Isaiah, I found out when Victoria was born. I've gone through everything but it hasn't worked. I guess Vixen doesn't want to be alone without me anymore." I huff, looking up at the sky, roughly around the height of Vixen. A smile crossed my lips as I spotted the black haired woman who stared at me.

"You gonna wait or say goodbye to them?" She asked and I chuckled, letting a few tears go. "Come on, daddy, mommy's waiting for us." She held out her hand and smiled at me as I took it. She quickly ran off, leading me into the clouds, a place where Vixen must've been resting with her mother.

Take a look back at them, I waved goodbye at Victoria before lowering my gaze at Isaiah. "They'll be alright, right?" I ask and Vixen nodded, smiling.

"They've got my daughter, of course they'll be alright," she smiled and kissed my cheek. "Let's go, momma's waiting."
