Eli is a really cool girl. Her village had a small medical school that she went to while she was in high school and she got her degree. She's a doctor at 18. I wish I could've done something like that, but I'm not quite that smart. She also told me that she only missed two questions total for all of her tests. The questions were worded so similarly that she put down the answer for the other one. Those were the only two tests that she didn't get one hundred percent.
"My brother is quite protective, so my relationship with Jay is my first one ever." Which kinda makes me wonder if it will be my only one. I kinda hope so...
"Yeah, I've never been in a relationship either, so if I am ever in one, I won't know what to do." She has a downtrodden face and I know what it's like to feel as though you'll never find love. Maybe I can help her... "My brother was also a bit protective over me, but until my parents had our little sister just over a year ago, I was his only sibling."
"How are you not *yawn* tired yet?" I have yet to see her yawn once and I've yawned at least five times in the last two minutes.
"I guess it's just what I inherited from my mother. I don't really need to sleep, I get all my energy from the shadows." Hmm... I'm gonna have to talk to Sensei in the morning. Thankfully Sensei sent Alex to tell us that we have the day off. I am definitely sleeping in as much as I can. "But the same thing happens with my brother, so I never felt like I was any different."
She's a very interesting person, and I've learned so much from her already. Like how she knew that her mom was pregnant right away, got to find out that the baby was a girl first, and also got to deliver her little sister. Not including naming her. "And here you're not. Zane doesn't really sleep, especially when someone is having a rough night. Kai can stand walking through a fire, Cole has tremendous strength, and Jay can out-run any car. Their personalities match each element too. Zane is almost always calm, Kai is always impatient and rushes into things, Cole has a strong "don't mess with me" aura to him, and Jay is always moving and he can't always focus on one thing."
She smiles at me as I yawn again and I think that I even heard a little giggle coming from her. "And you're the one who keeps things moving all the time I'm guessing?" I nod, while yawning again, and this time she giggles a bit louder. "Well, before you pass out on me, I need to tell you something. Then we can go to sleep." She leans in and tells me her secret, making sure that I know not to tell anyone else. I promise, climbing into my bed. She turns off the light and it was like she turned off my brain as well.
