This was kind of late, but oh well 🤷‍♂️
(If you get double notifs, it's because I modified the name)

School had just let out for the day. The March air outside was crisp and cold.

Richie and Eddie were casually walking home together, bickering back and forth and goofing off. The air suddenly became cooler and Eddie wrapped his lanky arms around his skinny body.

Then out of nowhere, it begins to rain. Not just a drizzle or sprinkle, I mean pouring. Richie looks up at the cloudy dark skies.

"Oh shit," Richie marveled, shoving his long hands into his jacket pockets. The two boys turn their gazes to each other, small grins beginning to form upon their lips.

Eddie's mother, Mrs. Kaspbrak, has never let Eddie play out in the rain. She was very strict about him getting dirty and being around mud. Oh, God forbid he be anywhere around the mud. So, this was almost a new feeling to him. The cool drops of rain against his skin felt amazing.

Eddie's auburn curls were getting completely waterlogged and they were glued to his forehead. Little droplets of rain hit the taller boy's glasses, making it impossible for him to see out of them.

The two boys both burst out laughing as they stood there under the storm, allowing themselves to get drenched. Mrs. Kaspbrak would not be happy when the small boy returned home, but he didn't care at the moment.

Their eyes and noses crinkled as they giggled with each other.

All of the sudden, Eddie felt a burst of confidence go through him and he took a step towards his friend. His small hands reached up and grab Richie's slim face, smashing his lips onto the taller boy's. His heart fluttered. Richie kissed back immediately, his own hands finding their way to Eddie's waist, pulling him closer. Eddie's hands slowly creeping up into the tall boy's soft ebony hair.

When they finally pulled away, Eddie looked slightly horrified.

"I saw it in a movie," the asthmatic boy murmured, then he sprinted through the pouring rain to his house.

And Richie? His heart was souring on cloud nine. He couldn't remember how to walk, so he just stood there on the spot for a good 5 minutes while he smiled like an idiot. The trashmouth walked home happily, keeping that wide grin plastered on his face all the way there.

Thanks for reading guys! This was pretty short compared to the last one, but I hope you enjoyed anyway 🤷‍♂️ Tell me what you think in the comments because I love hearing from you all! Don't be hesitant to request ideas. I love you guys!
