Before you start reading I would like to say the first two or three chapters were written a while ago when I was, honestly, not very good at writing. The rest get better as they get along so please cut me some slack until they get edited by me.
Another small note is there will be mature scenes in here, the chapters with mature scenes will have a star in the chapter name and a note at the start of the chapter. If these kind of chapters make you uncomfortable then please skip!

I just wanted to add a little note in here to say that this story does have mental illness in it - generalised anxiety disorder and panic disorder to be exact. I have had some private messages saying some things happening here are "romanticising mental illness", I disagree completely because nowhere in this story do I convey or say that having mental illnesses are "cool" or "edgy" or in any way fun to have. If anything, this shows how tough it is to deal with a mental illness.
If you didn't already know, I have anxiety myself and so the main character (Esme) is based a lot off of me and how I feel in everyday life, and it's not fun and I never say it is. However, if you do feel as if anywhere in this book I have romanticised mental illness in any way please tell me and I will try my best to change it. But know that is never my intentions and anxiety and other mental illnesses are not cool and relationships or boyfriends will never ever be able to "save" you from your mental illness or emotions.
