As he slamed the cardoor shut he eyed what would be his home for the next ... he didn't know for how long he'd be staying. They never kept him around for long.
He thought of everything that had lead him to this, his parents mostly. They hadn't been able to keep him, that is what people kept telling him. He wished it to be true, but the ever present thought that they simply hadn't wanted him never left.
Jungkook let out a sigh and started to make his way towards the building. It was large and he admired the gothic archetecture. As he got closer to the door his attention was grasped by the sudden movement of curtains closing. Shortly after he heard, what might be remembered as the loudest of their kind, footsteps. The door was swung open and a very enthusiastic guy, not much older that him, started waving at him energetically.
Jungkook stared at him, not knowing what to do or say. The guy kept waving, though it looked more like he was trying to shake his entire arm off. Then rang his deep voice:"hallo there!" His waving turned into beckoning and Jungkook quickly walked over.
"Hi," he stuttered. "I'm Jungkook, I'm here because this is, if I am correct, Herlane number 4375. I got ado-" he was cut off.
"Why yes! You've found it alright!" The guy went silent and looked off just past Jungkook. Then he realised he had fallen silent and resumed what he was going to say.
"Oh I'm terribly sorry! Where have my manners gone?!" He stepped aside so Jungkook could enter," come in, come in. My name is Taehyung by the way."The inside of the house was exactly what Jungkook had expected. Quite old fashioned but very elegant. It slightly reminded him of a castle, but it was too small for that. No, it was more like a mansion. The floor was made of cold marble and the walls were decorated by various paintings, which looked quite expensive.
His thoughts of admiration were disturbed by a second guy running down the gigantic staircase. Followed by a guy gliding down the railing. It was quite a sight, Jungkook hadn't expected to see anything like that in a house like this.
"Hobi," the guy on the railings shouted, "I swear on my future grave, if you don't give me back my gucci sweater-" he fell off the railing and the other guy ,Hobi, got away savely.
Jungkook saw Taehyung look down at the unnamed stranger with a questioning look. "Jimin? Why didn't you just take the stairs?" Jimin scoffed to this, got up and while dusting the imaginary dust off he said :" I thought I'd be quicker that way." He looked at Jungkook and back at Taehyung.
"Is this him?" He simply asked.
"Yes," was the simple answer.
Jimin turned to Jungkook and offered his hand. "Goodmorning, I'm Jimin." They shook hands. "I'm Jungkook," Jungkook said."How nice to meet you, Jungkook. I hope you feel at home here." Then Jimin let go of his hand. His smile was the friendliest Jungkook had ever seen.
"If you would excuse me , I'm going to get everyone together so you can meet the rest," he then started to walk off.
Taehyung now showed a boxy smile which made Jungkook reconsider his earlier statement.
"Shall I show you around the house?" Jungkook shook his head 'yes'.
