"Everything is changing. People can change after all."

Murdoc's POV:

It'd been at least a week since we moved in and I've barely seen Dents around the house. He's been doing his best to avoid me, and it's been working surprisingly well actually. That tall nuisance has a good way of wriggling out of situations.

He's so used to hiding away and this kinda makes me upset. I always used to torment him, so now he's just used to keeping his distance from me.

How am I gonna make things right if I don't even see him?

I decide that it's best to make the first move because if I don't then our relationship will be stuck like this forever.

I've got to do it.

I headed to his room and I could hear some of our songs playing from the radio quietly.

His door was left ajar, so I pushed it open and glanced around the room briefly.

One thing that stuck out like a sore thumb was a giant poster. A poster of me!

I was almost about to start smiling on the spot until I noticed the plethora of darts jabbed into my face.

Doesn't surprise me.

To be honest that's probably the least of what I deserved.

I shrugged it off and tried to talk to 2D.

Where was he anyway? He left the door open, but he's not in?

That's what I thought until I heard light snores from under his sheets.

I pulled back the covers and there he was.

But he wasn't alone.

So that's why he's been avoiding me...

2D's POV:

There was a girl in my bed that I'd been seeing recently. I wasn't really into her, but anything to take my mind off him. It wasn't a serious relationship and she was a fairly basic girl, but she was quite a nice distraction from him anyway.

(I hate to say it, but she wasn't as good in bed as Murdoc was- then again I've never had better sex than Murdoc's. God dammit! I'm thinking about him too much again)

I felt the coldness of the room as soon as I woke up. Slowly blinking my tired eyes open, I almost had a heart attack when I saw Murdoc glaring down at me with a harsh expression.

"You know I wanted to make our relationship work. Why are you in bed with this whore?" Murdoc hissed angrily, letting his jealousy slip out.

The girl jolted up immediately and began to argue back, but after a while of her and Murdoc bickering, she soon hurried out.

I guess that's the last I'm going to see of her...

It didn't really bother me too much though, considering that I couldn't even remember her name.
