"Come on, cheer up! I'll buy you dinner." Jooheon tried forcing a smile out of the younger. "Wow, coffee, dinner, what's next?" Changkyun chuckled out looking at his friend while squinting his eyes. "I don't know... blowjob?" Jooheon said "No homo tho." They both bursted out laughing.
"Ok then what's for dinner?"
"Pizza?"
"Sure, I'm always down for free food." Changkyun laughed genuinely.
Jooheon savoured every bit of that laugh, something bad was bound to happen, he could feel it, but he didn't know what.
They made their way to Changkyun's dorm room and ordered, half four cheese, half pepperoni pizza. With every bite Changkyun left his ex lover more and more in the past, feeling better as he spoke to his long term best friend about everything and anything. That's one of the things he loved more about Jooheon, his ability to listen and to speak up when needed, he also loved it when he got all whiny even if he didn't want to admit it. You could say he had a small crush, crushes thought are nothing more than just elevated feelings of a platonic friendship, crushes are not to be turned into relationships or else they could do just that... crush you.
"Hyung, what do you miss more about being in a relationship?"
Jooheon had to think about that one, what does he miss? He wasn't sure, feeling wanted? Maybe. Knowing that above anything he always had someone to fall back on? Absolutely.
"There's a lot of pros to being in a relationship, having someone who loves you unconditionally, is an example, but there are also a lot of cons, maybe you love them more than they love you, maybe they become way too attached and you start losing your own identity. There isn't one particular thing I miss about being in a relationship, because, at the end of the day, no relationship can overcome the bond that we have."
