"Babe! Did you feed that grey stray cat that usually sits at our porch?" Jooheon asked. "Yeah, why?" Jooheon merely opened the front door showing about 5 new kittens meowing up at him.
Minhyuk giggled "I'm sorry. He just looked so small and skinny, I couldn't just ignore him." "It's okay." Jooheon said pulling his boyfriend to his side by the waist. "Joo, do you think we could maybe adopt a kitty?" Minhyuk said looking down, already bracing himself for rejection.
"You think we can take care of a living thing, our cactus died. How did we even kill a cactus?" "It's just that.. we live in a such a large home, it feels too empty sometimes." Both men stepped outside and sat at the bench placed on their porch. Most of the kittens had given up and gone away, but two remained persistant, a small cat with reddish fur and a persian cat with beautiful golden fur.
"I mean.. I guess I see where you're coming from, maybe owning a kitten wouldn't be that bad.", as the words left Jooheon's mouth the reddish cat jumped on his lap and started rubbing his kitten face on his black t-shirt. "I think he likes you" Minhyuk said giggling "Your hair even matches" Jooheon held up the small kitten smilling at his little face and button nose.
"We're gonna have fun little guy" Jooheon scratched under his chin and he seemed to like it as he purred loudly. As if on cue the golden kitty made himself noticeable by rubbing his body along Minhyuk's jeans "Could we maybe have two cats?" Minhyuk asked grabbing the feline and pressing his face to the animal while looking at his boyfriend. Jooheon just couldn't say no to his parteners adorable antics and gave in.
They made their way to a veterinary, to make sure both kittens were free of any desieses, to give them their shots and to officially adopt the two. Sure this all seemed rushed but they just needed company, not that they didn't love each other, but because both come from small houses and big families, having a big house for just two people didn't feel right.
"Have you thought about names?" The lady that was taking care of the paperwork asked, in fact no, they had not. Noticing the confusion in their faces the young lady chuckled "I'll give you some time" they nodded and walked back to sit on the waiting chairs.
"How could we forget to give them names?" Minhyuk asked surprised "Ok let's think.. how about, ketchup and mustard? Because one is red and the other is yellow." Jooheon stated enthusiastically, Minhyuk wasn't amused "Might aswell get a white cat and call him Mayo. 'Oh let's go visit Jooheon, Minhyuk and the three condiments.'" he said mockingly "Okay damn" Jooheon said putting his hands up and laughing "Sorry." Minhyuk said also laughing. "Let's make a list, we'll put down names for each cat and then we'll choose one" Jooheon pulled a notepad from his backpack, teared up a page for his boyfriend and handed him a pen.
After 15 minutes of silence they both had a list "I'll start," Minhyuk said fixing his sitting position "first for the red one,
○ Dan ○ Roy ○ Joo "'cause he looks like you" ○ Joe ○ Tom ○ Ben
"for the yellow one,
○ Martin ○ Min "'cause he looks like me" ○ Tim ○ Jerry ○ Phil ○ Luke
that's all, what do you have?"
Jooheon's face didn't look too promising, he scrunched up the paper and threw it at the trash bin. "They all suck, this is worse than naming a first born" he added sighing, he closed his eyes and rested his head against the wall.
While both men were worried about the naming of the cats, the red one managed to escape his cage, climbing up the counter and sniffing around a bowl of berries positioned neatly on top of it. Minhyuk looked down noticing the open cage, his head immediately shot up looking for the cat, his gaze landing on the ball of red fur preparing to jump on the berries. He got up quickly, grabbing the kitten, Jooheon grabbing the bowl "No berries for you!" Jooheon said, both boys looked at each other as if they had an epiphany and let out in unison "Berry!"
A loud cry came from the other cage and they both went over placing now 'Berry' in his cage. "Sorry that we left you alone honey." Minhyunk said sliding his finger through the bars only to get his finger licked. Jooheon's eyes went wide and he slapped his boyfriends shoulder "What was that for?" Minhyuk asked rubbing the spot "Honey!", the elder didn't quite get it at first but he quickly caught up with what is boyfriend had said, smiling.
They grabbed the cages placing them on the counter "We have the names ready." Minhyuk said smiling. The lady smiled back "So?" "Berry and Honey" the woman chuckled. Not long after she printed out the certificate and both boys became official cat owners.
On the way home they bought everything the vet advised them. Once there they settled everything and decided to feed the cats since it was nearing dinner time. Jooheon threw his arm around his boyfriend and smiled "We have two cats" Minhyuk smiled and rested his head on his boyfriends "Yup" he turned his head to look at him and pecked his lips, they smiled at each other. "Wanna help with dinner?" Jooheon nodded and followed the elder.

Sorry if it's trash, so am I, also it's 5am and I can't sleep so..

Mine? Not so great, started of with a lung infection, dont recommend (im good now tho)
Ya girl turned 19 (on the 28th) will be 20 this year (damn im getting old)
By the way the fact that the cat is named 'Honey' has nothing to do with me xD although i need a lot of attention, but it was just a coincidence
