I was too shocked by this unexpected visitor to say anything. "What are you doing?" she demanded, storming over us. I released the Colonel's arm and took a few steps back. We all faced the woman and the workers stepped closer. "Who the hell are you?" Abe questioned, probably just as confused as I am. "Celine? What are you doing here?" Colonel asked her. I looked at him shocked. He knows her? And the tone he used showed me that they more then likely had something special. "'Celine'?" Abe repeated. The Colonel waved his gun around Abe's face, a little too ready to shoot. "How the hell do you know her?" he questioned. "Madame," the butler spoke up to Celine, spooking the Colonel and causing him to aim his gun at him. "I'm afraid you've come at a very inopportune time. Something dreadful has happened here." "I can see that," she retorted, "and I'm glad I got here before it got any worse." I got the feeling that she didn't understand what exactly was happening here.

I chose not to say anything though, I was too busy noticing her attire. I knew that fashion and it sent chills up and down my spine. It brought back bad and hateful memories. Not wanting to get stuck in the past, I shoved those thoughts away and payed attention to what was happening in front of me. The chef thrusted his finger up in the air as he spoke. "This is only the tip of the iceberg!" he clarified, "And it's a big iceberg." He lowered his hand and looked at the ground. "How can I put this delicately?" he spoke so softly that it surprised me. Of course, it didn't last long. "MARK'S F*CKING DEAD!" he exclaimed, startling everyone and causing me to take a step back. "What?" Celine put a hand to her chest, the painful expression of loss and confusion taking over her features. I didn't know her, but it made me feel bad. "Dead, like my hopes and dreams," the chef looked at the ground again. Celine and I gave him a confused look at his words. He got over it quickly and exclaimed to Celine, "And he's a flesh-eating zombie, too." For the first time, realization sparked in her eyes. "Homo necrosis," she said, more to herself than us. I sighed, annoyed by the zombie talk again. 'Leave it to a 'mystic woman' to believe in zombies,' I thought. "Exactly," the Colonel said, "hence the guns." He shook his gun around in his hand and I tensed up because I was not ok with being shot if he accidentally pulled the trigger. "That is not "hence the guns"!" Abe said mockingly, also waving his gun around. "Stop waving those bloody things around!" the butler exclaimed to the two lunatics. Both proceeded to wave their guns in his face, joined by the chef waving his ladle. I shoved the chef's arm down and out of my face and gave him a death glare. He looked at me surprised at my anger as Celine interrupted the other two. "Hol-hold on! Tell me what happened!" She looked all around at the group, speaking to all of us. "How did Mark...die?" No one answered at first. Then a grave voice spoke up behind us.

"It was murder." Lightning struck outside as we all turned to Damien, who had finally spoken. "And worse yet..." He stepped closer to us to deliver the terrible news to Celine. He paused. "The body is missing," he told her. "What?" Celine definitely sounded shocked. It was all over her face as well before she was filled with determination. "Show me," she said, "And don't say that word." Damien didn't really pay attention to her words. We were staring at each other, asking if either of us knew what the hell was going on. Neither of us did. He sighed in defeat and walked up to the group, standing slightly behind me to my left. The chef did pay attention to Celine's words and glanced at Celine with confusion. "What word?" he questioned. "Murder?" Lightning struck for the hundredth time that day, but this this time it was so blinding I couldn't see anything. Next thing I know, we are all in the living room in front of the crime scene. "Yes! That word!" Celine answered as I looked around in shock. 'How did we get here?,' I thought. 'We didn't move!' I appeared to be the only person who noticed because everyone else continued like nothing happened. "Well, I mean murder-" More thunder. "-is a rather accurate description of what occur-" Celine marched over to to him and focused his attention on her. "Do you not see the lightning?" she asked the butler, gesturing outside with her arm. "You sayin' it was lightning that murdered Mark?" Abe questioned as lightening struck. "Well, Mother Nature doesn't exactly strike me as having murderous intent..." the Colonel added, looking at the floor as thunder boomed. His head shot up and he waved his gun as he added, "Unless you count that time I was sucked into the board game: Jumanji and I wa-!" "Stop, stop!" Celine stopped him. "Look, whatever's happening here is tapping into forces far beyond our control."
