Christ's Mass is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. It's observed mostly on the 25th December by millions of people around the world.
Popular modern customs of the holiday includes gift giving, Christmas music, caroling, exchange of Christmas cards, church services, special Christmas decorations display such as tree, light, mistletoe... Etc. It is also the selection of closely related and interchangeable figure known as Santa Claus, Father Christmas or Saint Nicholas.
The month and date of Jesus birth is unknown that's why Christians choose to mark it in the 25th December. Christmas is a compound word originating from the term Cristemassse which is an old English recorded in 1038.
Christmas is a time of God showing His great love for us. God sent us His son so that one day, He'll become a very important part of history which He is today. His story is one of truth, love, and hope. Without Jesus, we would all die in our sins. 1John 1:9 "But if we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from every wrong.
If we believe that Jesus died for us, we can ask Him to come into our hearts and forgive us. Look at Christmas in a new way this year, Invite Jesus into your heart and you'll indeed have a merry Christmas. The joy and peace you'll receive will last you a life time as you look to God for all your needs to be met.
Christmas is more than celebration, more than gifts and care... And the Christmas Tree.
