The Day Before Christmas.

It all comes down to when the lights on the street way shine so bright for the vehicles riding downtown to move without getting involved in any form of accident.

The day had been chilly and bubbled with life. It was that time of the year when everyone would come out of their houses, sit by the pool, on the rooftop, on the field, under the tree, or in the veranda of their houses to watch the stars as the evening Christmas Eve breeze blew in their direction and sent a cool chill down their bones.

Jake had to sit down and have a review on how his day went. He had been so busy running back and forth to the studio, trying to know if he could put together a song. A song he had originally composed for his best friend, Graciela.

He had once told her he had a surprise for her but he was only going to tell her about it The Day Before Christmas. Now, the moment and day he had been waiting for had come. Jake and Graciela had been out all morning and she kept on persuading him to tell her what the surprise was. He had promised to tell her tonight is Christmas Eve, during their family dinner and she was looking forward to it.

Everyone had gathered around the big tree in the middle of their compound for their yearly family dinner and there she was, the beautiful Graciela!! 😍😍😍

Then he began :
Oh Grachi, I tried to look beyond the stars
To see if they'll leave a spark in your eyes.
There's nothing in this world that's as beautiful as you.
Don't worry about my family because they already know our story.
On this day before Christmas, I wrote you this song.
And on this Christmas Eve, I plague my love.

Let's see beyond our dreams, let's wish beyond the stars.
I've got a list for Santa but do you mind joining me on the fabulous trip to the North Pole?

I've plagued my love before, and I'll plague it again.
Marry me and we'll take on life's adventurous journey together.

Graciela couldn't help laughing, it was pretty romantic. It was an official family introduction and engagement party and, something Jake had been planning for a very long time.

The people cheered when Grachi said Yes!

And Graciela said Yes! ' Jake sang as he sat down in his balcony and watched the houses that seemed so far away from him.

The Girl of his dreams said yes to him... The day before Christmas!!!
