The no one

Chapter 2

Recap:
Tears streamed down the blond girls checks at that moment and that is when the Hyuga started to panic. Only after the screams had stopped and they were sure that the man had left, did one of them decided to speak. Nither of them where sure who said it, but they both agreed.

"I want to go home"

     It was only a bit after someone had said that for the two girls to calm down enough to look at each other again. The blond looked the girl up and down, taking in every detail, every scrape and bruise. The other girl not knowing what was going on let her, and for some reason felt safe with the small fretting the other girl was doing. The blond noticed a bleeding cut on the ravennette's right arm, and so scooted closer. The raven startled by the sudden movement, backed up into a corner. The blond saw this and stilled immediately, and showed the palms of her hands while keeping them near the floor.

     "I'm sorry for startling you. I mean you no harm, I just want to take a closer look at your arm. It doesn't look to bad, but if it's not treated right it could get infected. So May I take a look?" The blond asked, and the raven nodded. 

     With the ravens consent the blond continued to move closer.  Until she was right in front of the other girl, shielding her from the bars of the cage. As the blond was look over the injury the other girl spoke up.

     "M..my name is Hinata.... What's yours?" Startled the other girl looked up and then around her, seemingly to see if anyone else was listning.

     "I'm not allowed to tell you my name. If I do then they'll hurt me again. I can only tell you the name I've been given by them.... but I don't like that name....." The blond then starts crying and holds onto the other girl like a life line.

     "It's okay. You don't have to tell my your full name or any of your names. Is there anything you do want me to call you?" Hinata tried to say calmly to the blond, even though she was afraid that the other man might come back to see what all the ruckus was about. After a few minutes the crying subsided to just little shakes and hiccups. And the blond pulled away.

     "Naru... you can call me Naru."

     "Okay Naru, do you want to be friends." Hinata asked, she honestly didn't know where that came from. She doesn't know where she is or how to get out of there. But she guesses it's better to have someone else on the same boat. Even if it's sinking.

     Naru looked confused at the question and answered in a worried voice. "What's a friend? And do you really want me as one? I'm the demon child." But she relized to late what she said and quickly stood up and ran into the other corner.

      "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry, I'm sorry im sorry im sorry,
I didn't do it, I didn't hurt anyone, I'm sorry im sorry im sorry im sorry..."

-----------------------Hinata's POV-------

After I asked if she wanted to be friends, she called herself a "demon child". I heard some of the clan elders talking about one of them, how it destroyed the village a few years ago, and how it was making itself look like one of us. How it hates all humans, and if you are found injured by it, even if it's just a scratch, it'll finish the job.

I looked down at my arm, and saw the torn part of her night dress wrapped around the wound to keep it from bleeding. She couldn't be the demon child, could she? I then looked up to see her in a corner shaking and barley able to hear what she was saying.

     "I didn't hurt anyone, I'm sorry im sorry, I didn't do anything I'm sorry im sorry"

    A PANIC ATTACK!!!!

     "It's okay naru it's okay. I know you didn't do anyrhing, there's no need to be sorry. I'm not angry, and I'm not going to hurt you. It's okay you'll be okay." I say calmingly, the same way I do when I calm Neji-nii-san when he's having a panic attack about the seal.

     Naru seems to have heard me because she starts to calm down. She looks at me with wide hurt eyes. Eyes that I've only seen on papa and on uncle. She looks haunted.

     "I'm sorry..." Naru whimpers

     "There's nothing to be sorry for." And it's the truth. She isn't a demon child, and she has never wronged me. So there is nothing to be sorry for.

----------------- Naru's POV ------------------

     I'm running through an ally way as fast as my legs can carry me. But it's not fast enough. They're gaining on me. Please no, I didn't do anything, I'm sorry im sorry. But it's too late. A dead end, and I run straight into it, literally. I bounce back from the collision with a bloody noes, whiplash and no time to get up and hide. They got me.

     Burning, punching, kicking, spotting, dumping alcohol on my wounds. It hurts, it hurts to much. I'm sorry I'm sorry, I didn't do anything, I didn't hurt anyone I'm sorry I'm sorry.

      "It's okay naru it's okay. I know you didn't do anything, there's no need to be sorry. I'm not angry, and I'm not going to hurt you. It's okay you'll be okay."

     I... I've been believed, that I didn't do anything. Finally, but why does it still hurt?

     Because it's a memory, your stuck in a panic attack, the other kit is trying to get yiu attention, so wake up!!!

     I'm suddenly back in the cage they dumped me and Hinata in, and i dared to raise my head and look at her. And all I see in the lavender eyes, is worry and... understanding.

I AM SOOOOOOO SORRY YOU GUYS!!! WITH THE HEAD INJURY I COULDN'T TYPE, AND WHEN I FINALLY COULD SCHOOL POPPED UP WITH EOCS AND PROJECTS AND IT WAS TERRIBLE. Especially sence this is only a thousand words. And I am just so sorry, the next post should be atleast a bit longer and it will be sometime in two weeks. I haven't given up on this book, nor have I given up on my other books. So again I'm sorry but it is getting worked on, slowly but surly. Anyway here you go, and I'm going to go cry in my pit of shame.... (T-T)
