You and jack had just ordered a takeout from your local Chinese and whilst you were waiting you cuddled up together on your sofa watching tv. Calvin was fast asleep in his room for the night you were hoping, as soon as jack put him in his crib he fell straight to sleep.
You were startled when you heard the bell ring, you went to get up to answer it but jack made you sit back down and he got it. Jack shut the front door and walked in with the food, suddenly you heard quiet whimpers coming from the baby monitor.
Jack passed you the bags of food, "I'll get him, will you plate the tea up for us?," you nodded and he ran off upstairs.
You heard jack speak to Calvin when he went into his room. "what's up son?" He said.
"Roo roo, roo roo" you heard Calvin say through the monitor. You remembered he was playing with it in your room early on today when you were tidying your room he was sat on your bed watching telly and playing with the bunny he called Roo Roo.
You quickly took the food out of the bag and onto the plates and went upstairs to see what was going on. You crept by, trying not to get them to realise you were there and you walked into yours and jacks room.
You spotted the grey bunny on your bed, you picked it up and inhaled the scent of your baby and smiled. You walked into Calvin's room holding the bunny in front of your chest.
"Babe, have you seen his bu-," jack gasped. "There you go Cal, look what Mumma has found for you!" His eyes went wide and he shot out his arms asking for you to pass him his teddy.
"Fanku Mumma!" He threw his small body towards you and you took him into your arms.
"Goodnight my little prince, Mumma loves you," you peppered his forehead with kisses and passed him back to jack, he let out a little yawn.
"Night night Mumma," Calvin said, you smiled and left the room.
Jack placed him into his crib, telling him goodnight and got him off to sleep.
"Goodnight baby, daddy and Mumma love you a lot," jack whispered to your son who was now fast to sleep.
