Eros shook his head at me and put his finger to his mouth in a 'shh' motion.
"Mister,I CAN'T.STRANGER danger rule"
The first thing I thought was why was he acting stupid? He's not. Stop it and say something smart so the man can leave.
His little body trembled as the door shook.He closed his eyes and grinded his teeth.
"Mister, you're at the wrong door,take the front door.GO TO OTHER DOOR AND LOCK IT you leave RIGHT NOW!"
He had emphasized certain words....He was speaking to me ,not acting dumb-and I got what he was trying to say!
I CAN'T talk right now. There's a STRANGER! GO TO OTHER DOOR AND LOCK IT, you have to LEAVE right NOW!
I pouted as my eyes glistered threatening to overflow with tears.He shook his head and made a 'call' motion.I sniffed,nodding,and picked up the phone.I ran quietly to him and kissed him on the cheek.He blinked fast and bite his lips,trying not to cry.
I went into the closet and closed the door-locking it-softly. I positioned myself at the farthest end.I covered myself with a blanket then took the phone out of my pocket.I lowered the brightness and volume,calling my mom.
"Hello,Mommy?"
