Chapter 7: Blossoms of Love

*Chaeyoung's P.O.V.*

I took Mina's hand, I managed to save her from Taehyung and JungKook, and their little slave Jimin.

I knew she was waiting for Dahyun, but decided to take her away from the area, especially while Taehyung is still there, and probably helping Jeongyeon.

As I walked with her, I noticed something, I'd never noticed before. She is taller than me, #livinglifesmol_still159cm

Her hands were cold, I was happy that she didn't reject me holding her hand. Despite my tough facade, I'm cuddly and soft on the inside, I get butterflies in my stomach just like anybody else.

"Chaeyoung?" I was awoken from my void of thoughts, by Mina's voice.

"Yes, Minari" I replied, "Why did you come save me?" She asked. 

"I saw you in distress, and Taehyung frequently annoys me. So I dealt with him, for you." I answered,

"I mean the other day, in the basketball court. Dahyun got me out of there, but when I looked back, you were fighting them off." She said.

I like you. "I am a troublemaker, I get into fights easily, that one was an easy one to win" I answered quickly.

"Hmm...Well despite what people say, I think you're nice...Even if that kindness is deep deep down." She said.

It's so cute, that she thinks I can be cleansed of my sin. I'm too far in, it's already consumed me. You won't find any kindness in here......But then why, do I feel responsible for her......Why do I care for her?

"Hahaha, It must be very deep down. I haven't seen any signs of it for a long time..." I said, "I know it's there" she said.

We walked in silence, unsure of where we were heading. After a few minutes, I looked at her. She had the cutest look on her face, she was deep in thought.

She bit her lip, and scrunched up her nose. "How?" I asked suddenly, "what do you mean?" She questioned looking me in the eyes.

I avoided the eye contact, but looked right at her as I answered her, "How do you know if I have kindness deep down inside?" I asked.

She grabbed my arm, and stopped me in my tracks. 

"Chaeyoung, I know because I've witnessed it. You saved me twice, that's the little spot of kindness deep deep deep down, that is making you do that." She said, she smiled at me, and took my hand. 

"Where do you want to go, Chaeyoung-ssi?" She asked, "the arcade?" I suggested, she nodded and started to speed up.

Meanwhile...

I stood outside the restaurant, she just ditched me...

Great Dahyun, just great. You repel people so much to the point that they ditch you first chance they get.

"Dahyun-ssi? What are you doing alone?" I heard a voice say, Sana unnie.

"Uhhhh, Mina...Kinda....Ditched me..." I coughed out, "Dahyunnie, what happened?" Sana asked, putting her arm around me.

"I asked Mina to wait outside, while I got my bag...When I came out she was gone." I said, "oh...Maybe she felt sick, and went home? I'll try calling her" She said.
