Chapter 11: Confession

 *Mina's P.O.V.*

I was very concerned about Chaeyoung's health, she said she was fine, and that she didn't need a doctor.

I didn't believe her, though. As soon as we got back home, I asked Mr Minatozaki for a ride to the hospital, I explained the situation. And that Chaeyoung would stay, for the night.

We got into the car, and Mr Minatozaki drove us to the nearest hospital.

I walked in with Chaeyoung, and we told the receptionist, about our dilemma.

Surprisingly it wasn't very busy, and we were called in quite quickly.

We told the doctor, what was wrong. He said she would need some stitches, and that she would have to rest a lot, to give time for her wounds to heal.

He put a cast on her leg, and arm. I left the room, while they did the stitches on her back.

The procedure was done quickly, and easily. After a few hours we were given permission to go home, Mr Minatozaki took us back.

When we arrived home, Sana and Momo had already come back. I took Chaeyoung upstairs, and tried to help her get comfortable.

She needed a lot of rest for her stitches, and broken arm and leg.

She lay down in my bed, and tried to sleep. "Mina, can you sing something for me?" She asked, resting her head on my shoulder, as I lay down beside her.

"What should I sing?" I said, "sing the song you sang today, sing 'good person'" Chaeyoung said. I nodded, and started to sing.

"Onuereun museum iringeoni, ureot deon eolgur gateungar. Geuga neoui maeumeur apeigehaetni, naegen sesang her sojuhan neoinne." I sang.

When I finished she was lying peacefully on my shoulder, I kissed her forehead, and whispered "sleep well, Chaeng" into her ear.

Sana came in, "Mina...I'm sorry about what I told you, Chaeyoung may be a troublemaker, but she has a good heart." She said.

"It's in the past, Sana. I don't mind, I'm just happy she is okay." I replied.

"By the way, we found out something...You will want to listen to this, please come." Sana said, I nodded. I placed Chaeyoung's head onto the pillow, and left the room.

I walked downstairs where Sana and Momo were seated, as well as Mr and Mrs Minatozaki.

There was a strange woman sitting at the end of the table, "please sit, Mina" Mrs Minatozaki said.

"This is Mrs Son, Chaeyoung's mother." Mrs Minatozaki said, she introduced the lady, and I shook her hand.

"Mina, we found out that the boys used, a baseball bat on her...That's why her arm and leg are both broken, and she also suffered from a broken rib..." Sana said,

"..Then we talked to, Mrs Son. She told us that, the broken ribs, and some of the bruises weren't from the boys...She won't tell us who did it to her, though." Momo continued.

"I know who did it already, I listened to Chaeyoung's stories. It was her father, He has been abusing her since she was 8. But it increased after the death of your son, Jeonghoon." I said, to the lady sitting paralyzed in her chair.
