End of call

I walked back to Max and Harvey and they were looking at meet with confused faces

"Who was that?" Max asked.
"It was one of my dance friends." I lied
"Oh ok, I say we take a brake for tonight and work on this more tomorrow." Harvey said.
"I agree." I said walking to the couch. Then max came and laid down next to me and he wrapped his arms around me.
"Have I ever told you I love you Maddie?" Max asked.
"I don't think so." I told him.
"Well Maddie, I love you so much, I would go to space to steal you a star, even if it meant I would get burned by it. That's how much I love you." He said looking me in my eyes.
"Max, I love you too." I said. Then I felt a pair of lips on mine. When we kiss it feels like we are the only two people in the world. I feel safe in his arms. He makes me forget about my past. I love this boy. We stopped kissing, and started to cuddle. I soon fell asleep with my head on his chest.

Max's POV
Maddie is the love of my life. I would do anything for her. We were watching Disney movies when she fell asleep on my chest. I looked down at her and started stroking her hair. How did I get so lucky to be able to call her mine after everything I've done to her. I don't deserve her, but now I will make sure she is always happy, and safe. I will never let anyone hurt her.
"Hey dude." I turned and saw Harvey.
"Hey Harvs."
"You really do love her don't you?"
"Yeah, she's my world. If she were to ever get hurt I don't know what I would do."
"She won't because she has us to protect her. She's going to be ok." He told me.
"Yeah I guess."
"What are we going to do about this whole EDGD thing?" He asked.
"Honestly I have no idea Harvs."
"Well whatever we do keeping Maddie is our top priority ok."
"Ok." Then he walked away.
I promise I will make sure she is always safe, even if that means I risk my life for her. I will never let anyone hurt her again. That is my promise to you Maddie. I love you, is the last thing I thought before I fell asleep.
