Penny's POV
I've rushed to the hospital to see Adele, Simon said that she was shot by someone when they went to get Mia back, I pray to god that she's okay.
I'm standing outside Adele's room with the doctors
"We have stitched up the bullet wound but she won't be able to have a natural birth, she will have to have an emergency c section." The doctor tells me
"Oh okay right will her and the baby be okay?" I asked worryingly
"Yeh but when she dose go into labour it's going to be a lot more painful for her then a normal birth" he explains
Can I see her? Is she awake? Will she be able to move?" I fired questions at him
"Yes u can and no she's not awake yet and she will able to move around a little but not too much" he said and then left
"Okay thank you" I said and then I went into Adele's room.
Her face is so peaceful. I go to the side of her bed and hold onto her hand. The things she's gone through with Mia and how much she has attached to her in such a small time.
She's an amazing mother to her children I couldn't ask for a better daughter. She really is a star I think to myself
Adele's starts to move and her eyes slowly open. "Where am I?" She asked
"Your in the hospital baby don't worry mums here" I say as I tightly held her hand.
"Mummy..." "yehhh" I said "where's my family?" She asked "Angelos with Laura, and um Simon he's gone to get Mia" I said
"Don't u remember?" I asked
"No not really all I remember is Simon going into the house to get Mia and everything else is just a blur" I said.
"Well I'll tell u everything soon okay but u need rest, I've spoken to the doctor and he said that when u go into labour it's going to really hurt" I said giving her a soft smile.
"Well duh obviously it's labour mum" she laughed "hahaha no baby much worse since u was shot so close to ur pelvic."
"Wait I was shot... mum tell me what's happening!" She instantly started to worry
"Shh I'll tell u soon but u need to rest first okay please for me" I said. Giving her a kiss on her forehead making her relax a bit.
"Okay pinky promise me u will tell me when I wake up" she asked and stuck out her pinky finger.
"Hahahaha I pinky promise darling now sleep" I laughed at how she still uses a pinky promise. And hooked pinky's with her.
Adele closes her eyes and get comfortable to go to sleep when we hear people running down the hallway.
I get up to check and Adele watched me "mum what's going on?" She asked I opened the door and looked down the hallway
I smile at who I see running toward the room, "nana!! Where's Mummy!!??" Mia asked
Mia runs into my arms hugging me so tightly. Simon follows behind her "oh god that was scary" Simon say coming towards us.
"Oh Simon u are literally the best dad ever" I say. "How's adele?" He asked quickly
"She's doing okay she's awake if u want to see her, but the doctor said she can't move as much at first but she will be okay and he also said that when she goes into labour it's going to worse. Since she was shot in the pelvic." I say
"Wait mum got shot!" Mia says!
"Yeh but don't worry her and the baby are okay" I say
Mia and Simon go into Adele's room and Adele instantly smiles to see Mia safe.
