Sleepless

I stand in the door way of the living room, Adele's was sat on the sofa and instantly saw me standing there, she also had tears in her eyes. She mentioned me over and she pulled me onto her lap hugging her.

"Ur dad won't hurt u... I promise" she whispers I pull away from her hug and look at her funny "how do u know...?" She unlocked her phone and showed me her Instagram account "omg that was u the whole time!!" I said laughing "haha yes" she said laughing as well "so do u want too talk ??" She asked "umm yeh" "well lets get some ice cream and I'll put KUWTK on yeh?" "Okay"

After eating icecream talking and watching KUWTK, it's 11oclock and we need to go to sleep. I said goodnight to Adele and made my way upstairs I saw Simon not in there room so I'm guessing he's still in his office. I cracked open Angelos door and saw him fast asleep I walked up to him and placed a kiss on his forehead and went out.

I climbed onto my bed and turn off the lamp and closed my eyes hoping to fall asleep easily

But no... my mind is still going crazy thinking about my dad. I try different places on the bed trying to get comfortable but I can't.

I jump out of bed and head downstairs for some water. I get to the kitchen and get a glass, fill it with water and i start to head back up stairs when I see Simon asleep on the sofa.

I sigh to myself and head up the stairs. Adele's door was cracked open and I saw the light of her phone screen on. I softly opened the door to see Adele in bed on her phone

"What's wrong darlin?" Adele asked "i can't sleep" I said "do u want to stay in her with me?" "Um yes please" she smiled at me and I walked over to the bed and placed my water on the side and the got under the covers and moved over to Adele. She wrapped her arms around held my hand.

"Ur safe now" she said

After she said that I smiled and I felt my body relax. And a few minutes later we was both asleep.

Flashbacks of that night ran through my head from going to the concert, to posting the photo on Instagram and then, my mum getting the call and then turning around and seeing a man pointing a gun to my mothers head, pulling the trigger and running. After her made a turn to escape I saw him. The man I hated, hated for the rest of my life and the one person I never want to see ever again.

My eyes instantly shot open, and my breathing was heavy I saw the water on the side and I slipped out of Adele's arms slowly trying not to wake her. I grabbed the water and drank it.

I look back to see Adele still asleep peacefully, it's still dark outside and on the clock it says 4am

I climb back on the bed and kissed the top of Adele's forehead, after I leave the room and got my phone I went downstairs, I tried to fight my feelings holding them back. I get my shoes and put them on.

I walk towards the door seeing Simon still asleep on the sofa, I can feel a lump in my throats as I look back, I opened the door and slammed it letting all my anger out, not breaking the door tho

I ran... and I kept on running and nobody's stopping me.
