Hey everyone! I've been getting submissions now [which is awesome] and i've noticed a few have the main characters between the ages 13-19, which is exactly what I want, but teen fiction is the sub genre-- some of the books are werewolf/paranormal as the main tag.
Because this is mainly a TEEN FICTION competition, but this is my FIRST competition, I have come to a positive decision with these types of books.
Because I want to be more lax with this, gain a larger group base and create a nice, strong environment for future competitions, heres the deal:
Books that include things like vampires/werewolves/paranormal but have a sub-genre as teen fiction [the character is between the ages 13-19] will be able to win only 3rd place overall, become a finalist or a TOTT winner.
Books that are completely teen fiction [revolving around a HUMAN TEEN] are able to win any sort of place.
Books that do not even have their main character as a teen [age 13-19] will be eliminated from the competition. Books that have their main character as a teen but the main love interest/other main character(s) age 20+ will also be eliminated.
If you have any questions please comment!
If you are worried where your book stands in this situation, please message me!
If your book is eliminated I will private message you and we can deal with the matter together!
Thanks!
