Chapter 3

Previously: "Y/N, can I ask you something?" Jake suddenly said.

"Yeah!! What is it?"

"Would you like to have a-"

Present Day(still your POV):

"Would you like to have a phone? I mean, you've never had a phone and you really have nothing to do throughout the day so..."

"OF COURSE I WANT A PHONE!!" I yelled. I quickly covered my mouth and we laughed.

"We can go right now if you want. It's only-" Jake looked at his phone. "2:30. What do you say?"

"Yes!!" I jumped up and down like a 5 year old on his birthday when he gets a bike or something.

We quickly got our shoes on and left. I still had my previous outfit on so I was fine. We arrived at Best Buy(IDK) and walked into the store. We looked at different phones such as IPhones and Samsungs and all that good stuff. I finally came across the regular IPhone 6.

"Jake!! I think I found a phone." I said.

"The IPhone 6? Good phone."

"Can you afford it? I don't want you to spend money you don't have."

"I deposited about 500 dollars out of my bank account and put it on my card so we're good. I still have a lot of money left over in my bank account so.."

"Ok. I want this phone then!!"

"I will get you the phone then."

A worker came by and we quickly stopped him.

"Hello sir. My good friend here would like to get the IPhone 6."

"Good phone. Would you like to purchase it?"

"Yes."

"Please come with me and I will get your phone set up and ready."

We followed the guy over to a checkout counter thing(idk ok?). He took the phone out of the box and turned it on. We spent about half an our doing this and it was finally ready.

"Thank you sir." Jake said.

"No problem. Please go to the checkout to complete the payment."

We walked up to the cashier and he paid for the phone. After that we left.

"Thank you for buying the phone for me Jake. I just have to figure out how to use it."

"It's really no problem. Just have fun with it." Jake said.

I smiled and decided to play around with my phone. I found the app store and decided to look through some games. I found one that caught my eye. It's called Piano Tiles 2. I downloaded it and after it downloaded, I played it. I was addicted to it already.

Shortly after, we arrived at the house. I turned my phone off and got out. We got inside and I sat down. Jake sat down next to me and we decided to watch tv for a little bit.

It was finally getting dark outside and Jake said he was gonna go up to his room. Before he walked away, I managed to grab his arm. He turned around and I gave him a hug. I silently cried into his shoulder.

"Y/N what's wrong?" Jake said concerned.

"It's just that... you've done a lot more than I've asked for in life. If this was an alternate universe, I would be that girl at the orphanage that had plenty of friends and been taken in at the age of 4 maybe. But no. I got in trouble my whole life and finally ran away. I got taken in by the best person ever. I know we are still strangers but it hurts knowing I've never had people to call family. And it hurts." I said now sobbing.

"It's ok Y/N. Promise me. We will know each other better. We'll become best friends. I've only known you for a day and a half but I can already tell your a great girl. So let's just sit here and get to know each other better." Jake said.

I wiped away my tears. I smiled and giggled a little.

"There we go. Ok. Let's start with the basics. Full name, favorite color, blah blah blah."

"Ok. My full name is F/N M/N(middle name) L/N. My favorite color is F/C. I am an orphan, obviously. I don't have a favorite food because, you know, but if I had to choose it would be ramen. (Insert some other things about yourself here)."

"See. We're off to a great start. Anyways, My full name is Jake ______ _______. I have a YouTube channel named Jayingee and (insert stuff you know about Jake here)."

"Oh my god. You're a YouTuber? I was taught to never ever watch YouTube because it is a bad site."

"YouTube is not a bad site. I mean, there is a lot of youtubers who do cuss, including me and my friend Albert, but you should watch YouTube. It's not bad."

"Ok. Well. It's almost 9 so we should be heading to bed. Thank you for talking to me Jake. I really appreciate it." you said.

"No problem Y/N. Now get some rest. Or stay up and watch YouTube. Check out Jayingee and Flamingo."

"Ok. Goodnight Jake."

"Goodnight Y/N."

We walked upstairs and went into our separate rooms.

I changed into Jake's shirt and that was it. I walked to my bed a lied down. I decided to watch Jake's channel and a certain video caught my eye. It was about a shark attack.(Ok hold up one second. I love that video. The part where he gets the yacht to fly got me fucking dead. Anyways back to the story). I watched a few more videos before I started to get sleepy. I plugged in my phone and I fell asleep.

I know its only the 3rd chapter but how's the story so far? Do you like it?

Also, you probably thought he was going to ask you if you wanted a boyfriend. I ain't like that. I don't make relationships move to fast. I like to take it slow even though I'm like, "I NEED TO HURRY UP AND WRITE THE ASKING OUT PART!!!!" I know.
