Eleana's P.O.V.

I stirred a little as I opened my eyes turning on my side to meet the face of Nate staring at me intensely.I raised and eyebrow and sat up.

"Um,is there any particular reason why you were staring at me?"

He shrugged.

"It's interesting watching you sleep.I could tell you were having a good dream for the last five hours," he replied.

I stared at him in shock.

"You were watching me sleep for five hours?" I asked astonished.

He nodded like it didn't matter what so ever.I shook my head going to the bathroom,but got pulled back with hands around my waist.

"I don't get a good morning kiss?" Nate whispered in my ear.

I smirked.

"Nope!"

I got out of his grasp and ran out of the room and down the hall giggling.

"HEY!" I heard him yell.

I ran faster not looking back.

"I'm gonna get you Eli"

I shook my head.I didn't know he could talk to me in my mind.I ran faster until I collided with someone and stumbled backwards saying, "I'm sorry!"

I looked up and my eyes widened in horror at the sight of the man before me.

He smirked at me.

"It's quite alright...Eleana" he said.

I heard footsteps behind me and I turned around to see Nate glaring at Ethan.Your probably wondering why I'm scared of him.Well he used to be my boyfriend and when he demanded sex I told him no,but then he tried to rape me,but I got away.

I never saw him again...until today.

Nate put his arm around my waist and still glared at Ethan.

"Do you need something?" he sneered.

Ethan smirked and eyed me up and down.Great...and the worst part was I was in a tank top and shorts.That is just great.

"Well I came here for the masquerade ball introducing you and Eleana's marriage" he replied still looking at me.

I didn't even know about this masquerade ball or whatever the hell it was.

"That's nice.Will you excuse us please," Nate said pulling me along.

Nate and I walked into the kitchen as I sat down he just looked really pissed off.

"Is there something wrong Nate?" I asked.

He sighed and sat down next to me.

"Ethan...he is a prince just like I am.He is a vampire just like I am,but he is from a different kingdom trying to get my throne," he hissed angrily.

I put my hand on top of his hand and rubbed it soothingly.

"Everything will be fine," I assured him.

He nodded and looked at me.

"Why did you look so scared of him?" he asked.

I looked away from him too ashamed to tell him what happened.

"Ethan...he used to be my boyfriend and when we were together for sometime.He demanded sex from me.I told him no,but he didn't have that.He tried to...rape me,but I got away in time" I told him quietly.
