It was one of the rare times in new York when there weren't any attacks that the institute had to take care of. Alec was training with Jace when he heard his phone ringing. Alec smiled as he saw the caller ID that said Magnus ❤. Alec quickly answered.
"Alexander I wasn't interrupting anything was i?"
"Even if you were id put anything on hold for you" Alec chuckled to himself as he heard Magnus choke a little on his drink.
"Alexander that's sweet but not like you at all, are you feeling ok?"
"Hey you're not the only one that can flirt" Alec smirked as Magnus' soft chuckle echoed from the phone.
"Apparently, anyway I was calling to ask you if you wanted to come over" Magnus said getting slightly shy towards the end.
"I don't see a reason why not, there aren't many attacks happening recently"
"Great I can't wait to see you, I love you Alexander"
"I love you too kitty, I'll be there in 10" Alec chuckled as he heard Magnus choke on his drink again. Alec hung up the phone and put away his staff away before getting his jacket and telling everyone he'd be spending the night at Magnus' so they didn't have to worry. A few minutes later Magnus heard a knock on his door so he set down the book he was reading and got up to answer it.
"Alexander you certainly got here quick" Magnus said with a smile as he let Alec into his flat and closed the door.
"Of course I got here quick, I couldn't wait to see you" Alec said as he hung up his coat then kissed Magnus sweetly.
"I can tell Alexander" Magnus chuckled as he lead the shadowhunter to the leather couch in front of his flat screen TV and a mahogany coffee table where two mugs of hot chocolate sat. The shadowhunter smiled softly as Magnus lightly sat him down on the couch and went to a small closet and pulled out a small blanket.
"This is going to be a great night" Alec said as he pulled Magnus down on the couch with him and held him close as Magnus used a little magic to turn on the TV and wrap the blanket around them. The two lovers kissed sweetly as stranger things began to play on the TV, when they pulled apart they smiled at each other and grabbed their mugs of hot cocoa. They soon began to drink the sweet liquid as they snuggled closer to each other and settled in for a day full of love, kisses and cuddles.
