"Ready to go?" Chase asked as I stepped out of my room.

After I showered, alone, Chase told me that he was taking me somewhere special to him. He won't tell me where, so naturally I am excited and nervous. I decided to wear my blue and white striped maxi dress, with my gold sandals. No makeup today, although I think I could use some. I am just too nervous to care.

"I am ready," I said as I walked out of my room.

Chase was sitting on my couch waiting on me. Lucky him, he had a change of clothes and a toothbrush in a gym bag in his car. He took a shower while I was getting dressed. Black t-shirt, jeans, and his black converse. Messy hair and gray eyes, the casual look is wonderful on him. He grabbed my duffle bag and placed my hand in his. This small gesture made my skin tingle with anticipation. Just thinking about the kiss he gave me earlier made me want to......

"Gia," Chase softly spoke, pulling me out of my dirty thoughts. I looked up into his eyes. "I am really glad that I am spending the weekend with you."

 "Me too."

We stood there for a few more seconds. His eyes were mesmerizing, pulling me in slowly. I sucked in a sharp breath when he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me in closer. Our lips were almost touching. I wanted him; no I needed him to kiss me again. I placed my hands on his chest and let my fingers stretch out over his strong chest. I tilted my head back just enough to softly graze my lips over his. I begged silently for him to kiss me. I felt his heart race against my palm as he let out a long sigh.

"I have to open the car door," he whispered on my lips.

I gave a nod as I realized that I had his shirt by the collar holding on for support. I stepped away, letting him open the passenger door for me. He placed our bags in the trunk and got in the driver's side. He started the car and drove off, not before he placed his hand on my lap. It is funny, ever since last night, we have been in almost constant contact. Either he was touching me, or I was touching him. The only time we weren't setting each other's skin on fire was when I woke up and when we took our separate showers. If we keep this up, I may never want him to not touch me.

"So are you going to tell me where we are going?" I asked as we continued driving.

"Nope," he said with a sly grin.

"That is not fair," I whined.

"That's too bad. But I am sure you are going to like it." He said nothing else as he turned on the radio. I listened quietly as the sound of The Neighbourhood came through the speakers.

"I love this band," I said to him as I smiled at him. He seems to like when I smile. I can tell by the way his eyes light up.

"Me too. They are actually playing tonight for summer fest in Milwaukee."

"I know! I was so bummed that I could not go." Once the words left my mouth, I wished I had taken them back.

"So you would rather see them than hang out with me? My feelings are hurt," he said with a sad face. Bottom lip poked out and everything. I could tell he was only joking which made me feel better.

"You know what I mean Chase," I laughed softly.

"Good. First stop, we are getting something to eat. Anything in mind?"

"Not really hungry. Although I am sure I need to eat." My phone rang as Chase was about to say something. I looked at the screen to see Shane was calling me.

"Your blood work is in," Shane said before I could say hello.

"Really!? That's great."

"You're all good hun. I will fax the results to Chase's lawyer. And have fun today sweetie. You need it."
