Coronation Ball

(Mari's point of view)

After my class was done with the tour of the palace I was attacked with questions from them. For example one was'Mari how long have you known that you've been a princess!' . I think that one was from Rose I can't remember... oh wait... yeah it was her that asked that. I tried to answer all of their questions, but I sort of ran away to get some peace and quiet.Any ways the ball that my parents are giving is today. Alya and I are already getting ready for the ball.

We finished getting dressed and we finally went down stairs to the class. Everyone was in gorgeous dresses and tuxedos that my family gave them. When we were waiting for our limo everyone started to attack me with questions again. My limo started to pull in and everyone got in and we played music and sang on our way to the palace. After we got there I had to be taken away by my parents so that we could discuss what was going to happen.

Mom:" Okay, sweetheart you are going to be called last and crowned before the ball okay.''

I nod my head and they walk down the steps to the ball room to great everyone. After many people got called I was finally able to walk in.

"Princess Marinette Sunrise Dupain-Cheng!"

I start to walk in and go to my mother and father and bow, they then get out a crown for my coronation.

Mom:"Do you Marinette Sunrise Dupain-Cheng swear to protect your kingdom, citizens and family?"

Me:"Yes."

Dad:"Then we now pronounce that you are the crown princess of China and will be the queen when we step down."(don't judge me I've never been to a coronation)

Dad then puts the crown on my head and its really heavy! After that we all start to dance the night away. With me switching partners so many times I forgot most of the faces I saw. Alya actually had to come to my rescue when I was getting mobbed by princes trying to gain my favor, god I thought I was going to suffocate from all of the cologne. I actually talked to Adrien today and didn't stutter, if you saw the faces me and Alya had on in surprise after he left you would have died from laughter. The only downside of today is that we are leaving for France tomorrow. I mean don't get me wrong I miss Aunt and Uncle, but I just love China and its people.
