Bitter Past

Kai and Sehun practised the new dance choreography in the living room. Suho was out for shopping the daily needs with Kyungsoo. Baekhyun went to his reliable college friends to copy their notes and study together, catching up the lessons he missed.

2 hours later.

Kai and Sehun took a break from dancing practice. They both lay down on the couch in the living room. Sehun asked while laughing in disbelief, "Ya! Why are you still wearing the bandage if you already can dance again?" "Shhh," Kai said in half whisper while placing his index finger to his lips, telling Sehun to be quiet. "This gonna be our secret. Don't tell anyone," Kai said with a serious look.

Sehun said while laughing, "Ah! I know! You want to deceive Kyungsoo hyung so he will do everything for you, don't you?" Kai smiled mischievously. Sehun said, "What a naughty boy!" The two of them burst out laughing.

"Ah! I need to go now. Let's continue our practice later. I have a date," Sehun said when he saw the clock on the wall. Kai asked confusedly, "A date? With who? Sani? Didn't she already dump you?" Sehun laughed confidently. Kai said while giggling, "Thanks to her, now everyone in our class knows that you are a bad kisser."

Sehun smiled at Kai and said, "Actually it's not a date. I know Sani is studying at her friend's house now. I will go there and show her that I am not a bad kisser anymore." Kai laughed and shouted excitedly, "Sehun-ah, hwaiting!!" Sehun grinned at Kai before he left.

10 minutes later.

Someone knocked the door. Kai went to open the door. Kyungsoo's dad smiled and said, "Hello, I am here to see Kyungsoo. Is he at home?" "Kyungsoo hyung is out for shopping, but I think he will return soon. Please come inside first, abeonim (friend's father)," said Kai, inviting Kyungsoo's dad to come in. Kai led Kyungsoo's dad to the living room.

As soon as Kyungsoo's dad and Kai sat on the couch, Kyungsoo's dad asked with concern, "How is your hand, boy-ah?" "Abeonim, my name is Kai. My hand is totally fine now," Kai answered with a wide smile. Kai moved his hand, showing his hand was already fully recovered although he was still wearing the bandage.

Kyungsoo's dad asked curiously, "Then why are you still wearing the bandage?" "To give a touch to my dance moves... I guess," Kai replied with an obvious lie. Kyungsoo's dad who believed it, chuckled and said, "Aa~ I see."

Kai asked seriously, "Abeonim... May I ask something?" Kyungsoo's dad asked back, "What do you want to ask?" Kai said carefully, "Kyungsoo hyung often has nightmares... He keeps calling hyung in his dream... Did something happen with his hyung?" Kyungsoo's dad sighed sadly and said, "So, Kyungsoo still has nightmares..." Kyungsoo's dad took a deep breath then began to tell the story.

Throwback to the summer camp of Baekseok High School 4 years ago.

Kyungsoo was fetching water in the river when his classmates suddenly showed up. Student A asked mockingly, "Where are you going, nerd?" Kyungsoo ignored him and kept walking while carrying a bucket of water. Suddenly student B kicked the bucket in Kyungsoo's hand till it fell and Student C pushed Kyungsoo. When Kyungsoo fell to the ground, the three of them laughed.

Student A took away Kyungsoo's glasses and wore it on his head. Kyungsoo couldn't see anything, everything became blur. Kyungsoo shouted, "Give me back my glasses!"

"Take off his pants," Student A said while taking out his smartphone from his sweatpants' pocket. Student B and student C took off Kyungsoo's sweatpants forcibly. When student A wanted to take Kyungsoo's picture, suddenly student B shouted, "Wait!" Student A asked, "What's wrong?" Student B replied, "Let's make it more interesting."

Student B tried to take off Kyungsoo's underwear. Kyungsoo resisted it with all his might. Student B shouted at his friends, "Help me!" Student C held Kyungsoo's both hands tightly. "No... Please don't," Kyungsoo begged when student B took off his underwear forcibly. When Kyungsoo managed to release his hands from student C, he instantly covered his private area.
