Chapter 3 - Maybe?

Maybe I still have a chance?

"Y/n. Gumawo... IF you didn't help me I think by now you are already at my wedding with a girl I don't know." he said. You chuckled. Although you broke up with him, you still found the little jokes he made very cute. You would have the urge to pinch his cheeks or stroke his fluffy hair.

Jimin then drove you home. You rolled around your bed thinking about all the things that happened today. It was like a dream, a dream that willnever come true. For now... at least.

[ The next day]

"Y/N ah I saw your report. It was really well done. Good job!" Namjoon praised you. You smiled at him. He was the type of guy that girls would actually swoon over. His long legs, his dimples. Those were very attractive features of him. You could not deny that as it was a fact.

You continued to work diligently. Days past by so quickly it was time for your presentation. You had to present this to the whole team. That was including Jimin.

"Y/n ah. Hwaiting!" Jungkook said as he gave you a bunny smile. You smiled back at him as you saw Namjoon at the back, mouthing you 'All the best'. You nodded.

"So my presentation is about the research I conducted a few months ago in Tokyo." You started off. You were quite confident about this presentation as you had sacrificed so much doing it. 

Your presentation soon ended, earning an applause. Maybe it was really good, maybe they pitied you. Glancing over the whole crowd, the only person that you saw was Jimin. It was so unfair, how could this person block your vision with him. He did not even do anything, he was just appearing in your mind over and over. The endless nights just to think about him. You weren't sure if they were worth it or a waste.

You walked down the stage and returned to your seat.

"Y/N you did so good!!!" Jungkook cheered as he gave you a bunny smile. 

"Thanks. Hehe." you chuckled at his cuteness. He was really very cute, just like a bunny.

Namjoon nodded his head and added on," Yeah, you did really good. I shall treat you dinner tonight?" 

You gave him a smile and before you could reply him. This familiar figure came to your sight again...

"No. She is busy tonight. WE are going on a date." Jimin said fiercely. You wonder how he even heard what Namjoon and I was talking about. You caught Jungkook laughing at Namjoon.

"Hyung~~~~~ She's taken by Jimin Hyung. Don't you know that?" Jungkook said teasingly. 

Namjoon gulped his saliva, taken aback by Jimin. Jimin then stared at him in fury and whispered in your ear, "Stay away from him, he is up to no good."

You pushed him back a bit, accidentally pushing him on his abdomen, feeling his abs. He felt skinnier, although he had abs but you could feel his bones. It hurt you, you wanted to shower him with as much food as possible but you couldn't.

[After work]

"Yah. Park Jimin, come with me." you said strictly, making sure no one else was in his office.

"Yah? Park Jimin? Where are your manners?" Jimin questioned

"I left it at home. Why?" you said, sounding like you were trying to pick a fight with him.

"How may I help you?" he asked.

"Eat dinner with me."you said.

[Jimin's pov]

"Eat dinner with me."she said. There goes my heart going crazy again. Her charms never fails to amuse me and make me all weird. I just want to cuddle her now and squish her cute cheeks. Jimin ah. Focus!

"S...sure." I stuttered, overjoying too much. Park Jimin stop showing how happy you are!

"You finished your stuff?" she asked.

"Yeah." I replied as she grabbed my arm pulling me to the nearby ramyeon stall. She pulled the chair out for me to sit and made me sit down.

"Two bowls of ramyeon please." she ordered. It was so cute to see this girl acting all 'mature' and she looked really nice in the pencil skirt and the coat. She still acted like a little girl, the y/n I always knew.

[Your pov]

"Park Jimin. I'm saying this once and only once. If you are going to skip any of your meals and if I find out , you are really dead. " you threatened . him.

"Oh... so you knew by touching my abs? Did they feel nice?"  he teased again. Physically, you wanted to slap him but emotionally, your fangirl mode was activated.

"Im doing this because Im concerned about your health idiot." you pouted.

"Arraseo~ I will eat every single meal for you." He said as he winked at you. You smiled a bit, now that you are feeling a bit relieved.

"Then will you make my lunch? I don't have any time to go down to the cafeteria to eat~" he said cutely, trying to win me using aegyo. Well... You made your own lunch also, might as well make one for him.

"Yeah I guess that is fine..."you replied. Y/n!!!! Why did you just agree so easily? Are you stupid? 

He gave you a killer eye smile again. The ramyeon arrived and it looked very appetising. You could feel your saliva dripping from the edge of your mouth.

"Eat as much as you want. I will treat you." you said.He smiled at you cutely as he slurped on the noodles. He looks so adorable when he eats, you just have the urge to pinch his squishy cheeks. He finished his noodles before you did and you caught him staring at you. You decided to ignore that and continue eating. This ramyeon stall was actually where you had your first date with Jimin after returning to Busan. It gave you so many memories.

"Y/n, can you promise me something?" Jimin suddenly asked.

"What?"

"Don't ever date Namjooon hyung , please. I can see that he likes you but really, you won't be happy with him."he said.

"Jimin ah. You are no one to say that. We are already over. " you said.

"How do I get you back?" Jimin muttered, blinking back the tears that threatened to fall.

" You know that day when we broke up I wanted you to come and back and back hug me but you didn't? I cried so hard but no one was there to comfort me. I screamed so loud but no one could hear me. I wanted to say I love you so much but I couldn't. I loved you so so much. But why couldn't you realise? Maybe we are not destined after all." You said, crying.
