Protect the ones you love (Part One)

This is the final chapter and it shall be split into two parts of this story thank you to everyone who has been waiting patiently, expect two  long chapters  for the finale and here we go.

Warrens pov;

Max had a giant smile plastered on her face as her and chloe talked in her bedroom, Nathan was staring at me worry in his eyes. it was the first time I had ever seen him this worried about me. the whole situation I was just in was probably how max felt the first time she experienced time travel.

But yet...I couldn't do it, it was strange. I could remember everything that happened...every stupid thing max had to rewind for and multiple other timelines. The one were kate committed suicide, The one were Chloe was in a car accident and the one where Nathan had saved me from a stupid idea in the science room.

"Warren...are you okay? You've looked pale since we got here" Nathan muttered as he sat me down at Chloe's desk.

I nodded and he frowned, knowing I was lying. he didn't say another word but kissed me on the cheek. he stepped away from me and began to talk to max. I don't know how long I sat there for staring out at the street but it was long enough for me to fall asleep.

My dream was strange, I was in Two Whales with Nathan and Kate. It seemed to be almost normal until they froze up. The expressions on there face where dark and I immediately notice Max walk in.

Every step she took echoed in my ears and as she got closer my head became blank, I didn't have anything to say but she had a lot to say.

I sat there and took every bit of abuse and every lie she told me but I believed them, and then she seemed to glitch out and repeat every word but there was another layer of her talking underneath.

"Warren, Rachel Amber is alive...Nathan almost killed her. She got away form him. head to two whales. Now"

I woke up and noticed how the sky had darkened and how scared max looked, outside heading towards Arcadia bay...was a giant tornado. it was ominous and scary but my dreams words echod in my head.

"Head to two whales" I thought, If what I heard was true and even though in the one of the other timelines Rachel had died...if she was alive now that would explain a lot.

Nathans pov:

I watched in silence, the tornado was heading straight to Arcadia. I sat in two whales with chloe and her friend. this was strange...I felt like I shouldn't have left warren with max but I did and I kind of trusted max.

"So whats your name...I feel like we've met?" The girl said sipping onher drink, it was strange that we both felt the same way.

I heard the bell of the door jingle and just thought it was a normal customer, I told her my name and she smiled...saying her name was Rachel. Then as I looked up to meet Warrens eyes that were filled with fear time seem to freeze.

He turned on his heel and left, Rachel smiled and nodded at me. "He's heading to the lighthouse...probably going to meet up with Max." 

I thanked her quickly and stood up, following after him. The tornado seemed closer then ever and the street was a mess. I heard creaking as I sprinted down the street. I froze and looked up at the falling building.

I stared ahead at the lighthouse in the distance...wandering if warren had made it or not.

"Goodbye...I love you...warren!
