*Vic's POV*
Two weeks have passed since me and Kellin broke up. The worst two weeks of my life. I mean, I told myself to move on but seeing Kellin every day in school didn't really help. He seemed okay, I guess, but anytime he saw me staring at him, he frowned and his mood changed into something, I assume, was sadness. He also spent most of the time with Oli, I know that they were just friends but anytime I saw them laughing or even talking together, I felt the jealousy take over me. It just sucked seeing him happy when I was a complete mess. In total unselfish way of course, I'm glad that he's happy, even though it's without me. I had to remind myself that it was better this way...
So it was friday and the prom was tonight. Jesse agreed that we can go together as friends since he didn't have a date neither. I was hoping to see Kellin there even though he probably won't come, it wasn't even his prom, so...

"Wow, Vic, you look, I don't know, different," Mike said as he entered my room. "In a good way, I mean." He added and I smiled.
"Thanks, I guess." I laughed a little and tied the black tie around my neck.
"So who's the lucky boy?" He smirked at me.
"Um, Jesse, but we're going just as friends." I assured him.
"Alright." He said. "Vic?"
"Yeah?" I turned around so I was facing him.
"I'm proud of you, big bro, I mean, look at you, you'll be a college student soon, I don't even think I'll ever graduate." He laughed.
I laughed too at his ridiculousness. "Thanks Mike." I said. "Graduate? I didn't even think you'll make it to high school, yet here you are." I teased him.
"Very funny, asshole." He laughed too. "Anyway, I should go, have fun tonight." He smiled and walked out of my room.

Me and Jesse were walking towards gym where the prom was holding place. The place actually looked pretty awesome, there were stars and blue cloth everywhere, well, the theme was 'Starry Night' so it was kinda expectable but whatever.
It was maybe an hour since we got there and we were already bored, alright, they played some good music but that was all, so we spent most of the time just drinking punch and laughing at dancing people.
"Hey Jess, I need to use bathroom, I'll be right back." I told Jesse but he seemed more distracted by some chick that was just passing by. I sighed and began walking towards the bathroom. I pushed through the people that were in my way and finally made it to the bathroom door. I opened them and walked in, surprised by who I saw standing there. He seemed shocked that I was there even though I was the one who should be shocked.
"Uhm, hi Vic." Kellin said.
"Hi." I replied and realised that I was staring at him the whole time. "So you decided to come here, huh?"
"Well, yeah, Oli practically forced me to." He said smiling a little. What? He came here with Oli?
"Oh, so you two are, like, a thing now?" I asked, probably sounding pathetic.
He laughed. "No, we are here as friends." Thank god. "Uhm, anyway, I should probably head back to him, it was nice to see you." He smiled and walked out of the bathroom.
"Yeah." I said mostly to myself since Kellin was already gone.
I did what I had to, washed my hands and headed back to Jesse, he was talking to that girl he was staring at. Ugh, great.
"Hey Vic." He said as he spotted me.
"Hey." I said back and turned my attention to that girl. I think I saw her before but I don't really know her name.
"This is Ashley, Ashley this is Vic, my best friend." He introduced us to each other.
"Hi Vic." She smiled at me.
"Hi." I returned the smile. "Uhm, Jess, I should probably head home, I'm getting bored, see ya later." I said and began walking towards the front door. I took one last look around the gym and my eyes landed on Kellin. I didn't even realise how good he looked tonight, he was wearing a normal black tuxedo and bowtie but he looked fucking hot. No, Vic! Stop thinking about your ex-boyfriend like that. He was looking back at me I smiled lightly at him but as soon as I did so, he turned back to Oliver. I turned around and walked out the door, heading towards my car.

*Kellin's POV*
I saw him leaving the gym which kind of disappointed me. Yeah, I know we broke up but I still liked him even though we couldn't be together. Unfortunately, I didn't exactly listen to what my mind was telling me at that moment so without any hesitation I told Oli that I would be right back and followed Vic out the door.
I followed close behind but he didn't seem to notice. Eventually he made it to his car, opened it, sat on the driver's seat and laid his head down on the steering wheel. He still didn't realise that I was walking towards his car.
I got there and knocked on the window, that's when he finally noticed me, thankfully, and opened the door.
"Hey, Kells, what are you doing here?" He asked, looking confused.
"Uhm, I-I just, I wanted to say goodbye since you're leaving after the summer, so yeah."
He smiled, probably at my awkwardness. "Goodbye, Kells, I'm gonna miss you." He said and I could see the tears forming in his eyes.
"I'm gonna miss you too, Vic." I said, looking at him.
We just stared at each other until he broke the silence. "You should probably go back there, you don't want Oli to wait, do you?"
"No, I don't but, I need to do one last thing."
"And that is?" He asked.
I smiled and leaned closer to him, closing the gasp between us. He smiled into the kiss. I tangled my fingers with his hair and deepened the kiss. I then moved on his lap so I was straddling him and he rested his hands on my hips, drawing small circles there with his thumbs. He then brushed his tongue along my lower lip and I immediately opened my mouth so he could slip in. I could feel some liquid soaking my cheeks and then I realised that he was crying. I pulled away and wiped off the tears with my thumbs. He smiled lightly at that gesture and hugged me. I hugged him back, then climbed off of him and gave him one last peck on his soft pink lips.
"Goodbye Vic, I just want you to know that I will always love you." I said and he smiled as one of his tears rolled down his cheek.
"Goodbye Kellin, I'll always love you too." He said and I closed the door of his car. I began walking back to the school and took one last look at him. He looked back at me, then started his car and drove off.
In the moment his car was no longer in sight, I sat down on the stairs in front of the front door and broke down in tears. I started shaking and sobbing uncontrollably while the tears kept running down my cheeks. I sent a death glare to anyone that passed by and looked at me. I sat there for what seemed like ages when I sensed someone sitting down next to me.
"Hey, what happened, sweets?" Oli asked and wrapped his arm around my shoulders.
I snuggled closer to him and laid my head on his shoulder. "N-nothing, I just said goodbye to Vic is all. I-I'm gonna miss him, Oli." I said as I cried.
"I know, honey but you'll get over it, trust me." He said and kissed my hair lovingly.
"Thank you." I said, begining to calm down. "Can we go home please?" I asked, looking at him.
"Sure." He smiled and grabbed my hand as we started walking towards my house.
We were passing mine and Vic's favorite coffee shop when I saw a familiar figure sitting there. It sure as hell was Vic, he sat there with coffee in his hand and tears rolling down his cheeks.
That was the last time I saw him.
